I don't get the CP3 to Spurs rumors. He's almost everything that Pop hates in a player. I think CP3 is one of the best PG's in NBA history, but his game is like a complete opposite from Spurs basketball.

But then again who knows. I think CP3 and LA would be amazing in a pick and roll offense, but it would mean Pop would need to change up the offense to accommodate that. Then what happens with Kawhi?

Pop has changed his offenses before. It's part of what makes him the best coach in the game and possibly ever. If the Spurs get CP3, Pop will figure out the best way to incorporate what CP3 brings and use it to make the Spurs better.

As for Kawhi, he's a Swiss Army Knife, he'll likely just continue to do what he does and adjust his game to fit the team.

If I'm the Warriors, the last thing I want to see is CP3 (or Hill for that matter) in San Antonio.

I don't buy it. This is at least the 3rd different story Stern has come up with to try and justify a situation that the league never should have been in in the first place. He just keeps throwing shit at the wall to see if something finally sticks.

Wouldn't have came to that if Dan Gilbert didn't whine to Stern in that email. Pretty ironic that he said that 25 of 30 teams would be the Washington Generals if that trade happened...and now he's the owner of 1 of 3 teams that can legitimately challenge for a title...

Agree. I think Lakers fans would be a lot less bothered by it if he would just say..."this was the decision I felt was right at the time, so I made it" and just stuck with that.

Instead he's said it was his role as de facto owner, his role as commissioner, the trade was never agreed to and now he says "Mitch panicked and it's the Lakers fault."

Pick a story, any story and just stick with it. lol
