@trojanfan12 you know what to do.

Kyrie shot 44% from 3 in March and 48% from 3 in April. He looks primed and ready to go. Finishes the season with a career high 25.2 ppg, and a career high 47.3% from the field, a career high 90.5% from the free throw line---- a "LeBron" high 5.8 apg and a career high shooting efficiency.

this is DEFINITELY Kyrie's time of the year. I cant wait to see how he builds on last years performance this year.

ehhh...i dont see the Thudner beating the rockets----- and i dunno if a 5 beating a 4 qualifies as an "upset" as clips and jazz are pretty evenly matched.

The only possible underdogs I would consider are the Bulls or Bucks but I think Toronto and Boston will find a way to move on.

lol, so you guys let the regular season thread run to almost 40,000 posts, then playoff time comes and we have about 30 different threads to talk about shit? makes sense

Yeah, the way we do it, actually does. As each playoff series ends, that thread will be "unstickied" and allowed to just disappear from the first page. By the end of the playoffs, it'll be the playoffs thread and the finals thread.

After the finals, we'll all be posting in the off-season thread. Then, when the next season starts, we begin again with a new season thread.

That wasn't my point wang chung

My point was you let a thread run up to 40k posts, which makes it almost impossible to follow if you miss a few days or want to search for something.

It's much easier if you make a Regular Season V1, sticky it, stop at about 2k posts, unsticky and close it, and then make Regular Season V2.

And I don't like your condescending tone so that shit better stop pronto.

lol @the new guy coming in telling everyone else how to do stuff. When you click on any thread, especially one you have previously posted in. It automatically takes you to the last page that you were on. That makes it pretty easy to catch up. It really doesn't matter how many posts a thread has in it because if you miss a few days, you're still going to have the same amount of backreading to catch up.

This was actually the first time we let a thread get to that many posts. We thought threads automatically locked at 10,000 posts. We found out they don't. A little bit of an experiment. We're all scientists here.

And I don't like your condescending tone so that shit better stop pronto.

Wasn't intending to be condescending, was just explaining how we've been doing it since we all showed up here.

As for "better stop that shit now."

@WiggyRuss do you ever win?

"I was thinking about doing it- but then i read a couple articles detailing how like at least half of the entries for everything are dorks that live their parents basement with algorithm's and models that enter dozens of contests a day and just grind it out.

If it was just amateur's having fun- id be more prone to do it. As is- it seems kind of a sucker bet to a certain extent. It does look like fun though."

I'm replying to this since I can't post in the NBA regular season thread anymore.

I only go in the $3, $5 or $6 contests but in the past I have only done NFL. I did the golf tourney this weekend the RBC Heritage. The contest was $3 and right now I am 5,700th out of 196K people so doing pretty good and if you have a decent lineup you can do pretty good. If you get in 43,000th place you can still make $2. It is pretty fun though, they have all kinds of contests. I did a MLB this morning, it is only for the 2 early games.

The good thing is unless you just do horrible you will get your money back, make a couple bucks and you always have a slim shot at making a lot of money or $30 or $40 here in there. When I did NFL I think I ended up winning like $100 and it was a lot of fun.

My mom works with a guy, who's brother does DK's full time, literally does exactly what Wiggy described.

A lot of those people don't even know sports, they just do it for a living, created multiple upon multiple of entries, and do nothing but study it.

So basically, Draft Kings is no fun anymore because nerds took it over.
