I've been all over the place but here are my final preferred rankings for the 76ers:

1. Markelle Fultz
2. Dennis Smith, Jr.
3. Josh Jackson
4. Malik Monk
5. Jonathan Isaac
6. Jayson Tatum
7. Frank Ntilikina
8. De'Aaron Fox
9. Lonzo Ball

Since Fultz will almost assuredly be gone, I'm proclaiming myself the official SportsHoopla leader of the Dennis Smith, Jr. bandwagon. He has the ability to do it all offensively and I envision him as the Kyrie Irving to our Ben Simmons. Would anyone be surprised if DSJ becomes a perennial 20 ppg player?
You got the same 9 I have, I'd probably have Ball up higher, but when I look at it, I don't know.

Admittedly, I'm very down on Ball. If I tried to look at it reasonably objectively, I'd probably put him above Tatum, maybe Isaac.

I understand he can shoot, even if it's ugly and he makes quick decisions, so he would have efficient possessions. Smith and Monk can score in an abundance of ways, but aren't as tall or have the same arm length. Frank can be anything, that being said, TLC can be said to be able to defend and shoot the 3. Kork might be there as well. Tatum is said to be a high floor. That was said about Okafor being high floor safe pick. Nothing to do with coming from the same school, other than the same school of thought. I think we have better talent than given credit for. The pick is a bonus. I want someone that can be an athletic PG, preferably one that can shoot and not one that we hope can shoot.

Agreed -- which is why I'm down on Fox. And I have serious concerns about Ball's shot translating to the NBA. So, I knocked them down a bit.

As per Woj bomb, Sixers in talks with C's to acquire 1st pick.
Stay tuned....

Yup. I'd be happy with that. Let's say the asking price is -- #3, PHI 2018 (top 10 protected), and SAC 2019. I think I'd do that.

I think they want the LAL 2018 pick instead of SAC 2019.
I'm still ok with that.

Hard to imagine BOS controlling the 2018 LAL pick, especially after watching the excellent 30 for 30 on ESPN about the Lakers/Celtics rivalry. How badly will Magic want to win to spite the Celtics and how much damage could that do if he starts trading away assets....

What I've heard is --

PHI gets: #1
BOS gets: #3, Lakers 2018 if it falls in the 2-5 range (if not, Sacramento 2019)

I had to change my signature after this weekend. I still like DSJ but Fultz is the best option for this team. Upon reflection on the trade, it's really a trade of #3 and the Sacramento pick with a small probability that the 2018 Lakers pick conveys instead. Which is fine.

I'm curious to see how the lineups will work. There are a lot of options. Imagine if we could get any defensive production out of Okafor, this team would be a nightmare to match up against.

I'd imagine Ainge wants to stick it to Magic. Oddly enough, the Lakers, Celtics, and Sixers could all be vying for Paul George next offseason -- and what happens the next two months could have a serious impact on that. Although, I'd be ok with losing those sweepstakes.

So, 2018 LAL pick is protected #1 and #6+.

If it doesn't convey to BOS then :
2019 SAC pick is protected #1 and BOS would receive the more favorable of SAC/PHI 2019.

Wowsers!

You've got to like the trade. It all comes down to how good you think Sacramento is going to be (because that Lakers pick will likely not convey).

They could go into 2018-2019 with WCS, Hield, Richardson, Papagiannis, Labissiere, whoever they end up picking this year and next year -- and a virtual boat load of cash to sign people in free agency. Sure, they will probably not be championship contenders, but I think they've got the pieces to become a moderately competitive team by 2018-2019.

Pretty happy to get Fultz and Bolden.
Eurostashes with the 7' 2" Latvian and Lessort.

Not too crazy about shipping Jawun Evans to LAC and Sterling Brown to MIL for cash, but if Korkmaz is coming over, there just isn't going to be room. I keep trying to convince myself that selling Evans cheaply to LAC is compensation for us eventually signing Reddick in FA.... :pound:

So Kevin Garnett was in town and had a visit with Dario and Embiid. My guess is he was filming a segment for the awards show tonight. Rookie of the Year Joel Embiid?
