Tournament Thread 2017 Maui Invitational Announced

Hell of a game between LSU and Michigan. Glad to see LSU take on ND and not waste a trip playing garbage Chalminade or whatever the hell it is. Even if LSU drops the next two, still good to get some experience vs solid teams.

It really was a huge win. Michigan should still be a top 100 win, which is probably worst case for them. Just getting the chance to play ND then Marquette/Wichita State will do wonders for the SOS. Playing Chaminade then VCU/Cal would obviously not help the SOS as much. Although it would have been interesting to see him go up against his former team.

Yeah, I'm not sure of that either. I don't recall in the past the 2 winners of the early session being the first game the next day. I wonder if they switched that for this year? You'd think they'd want the WSU/Marq game at 4:00ET and not VCU/Cal.

Both teams did their fair share of trying to give the game away. Even if Michigan is an NIT team, still for how LSU has looked that’s a big win.

Man this Marquette team is truly a 3 man show but we can really hang around at anytime.

Down 5 with Hauser out like the whole half, Rowsey playing awful and Howard sitting with foul trouble late.

Second half will probably be like Purdue especially with the foul trouble. But fun the way we can hang around without even shooting well

This is EXACTLY why I was telling Marquette fans when Wichita was down early that we still wanted Wichita to come back and win.

Cal is terrible and playing them only woulda been a detriment in the long run.
