Surprisingly, more mocks have us taking Taco. Thats the consensus so far. I am not buying it yet. We addressed DE is FA already. Not likely we would pay a guy millions and then draft the position in round 1.

I haven't questioned very many moves by Quinn. I damn sure wouldn't if he solidified the DE position. Besides Ziggy, the others are rotational guys.(until proven otherwise) I'm not big on Taco, but would understand if he pulls the trigger on him.

But is the position fully staffed, or is there still a need for depth? I wouldn't be surprised if the first round selection was any position along the offensive or defensive lines to create competition and depth, making the lines strengths instead of question marks.

We need way more help inside on both lines. Also, we have only 3 LBs signed and 2 are MLBs.

I think Hyder proved he is more than that. He should have been allowed to play way more.

Not a fan of Taco either. I would look elsewhere.

So which direction will they go? LB, DE/DT or CB? See that being the first three selections, just what order?

I also would not be upset with Reddick and Raekwon McMillan back to back. Solidify the LB core to extent.

BQ loves him some special teams. The only part that isn't top notch is the return game. If McCaffrey's there, I'll bet he takes him.

I think a lot of people are overlooking McCaffrey on this board. Been hearing a lot of Leveon Bell comps to him. Very patient with elite vision. Lions were 30th in the NFL in rushing last season. With these upgrades on the OL and someone like McCaffrey. That would go a long way.

I have LB, CB, DT. I get the feeling though that the last 2 are interchangeable.

I think the 1st rounder will be LB, CB or DE.

He's an injury prone drug addict too?

You're not calling the who yet? Dennard style...

No, not yet. I want Peppers, but I think he's going to LA2 at 7. There's a handful of guys I'd be happy with at 21.

An NFL scout told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that USC CB Adoree' Jackson is "a first-round player for me but he’s got to be penalized because he’s a midget."

Naturally, the scout sees him as a second-rounder. "He’s a really good player but he’s small," said the scout. The dynamic 5-foot-10, 186-pounder posted a 40-yard dash of 4.42 seconds at the NFL Combine. "Only negative is his height," another scout said. "He’s always in the right spot at the right time. He knows how to keep position and break on the ball. Reminds me of Darrell Green, who was just 5-8. He’s so instinctive. Excellent one-on-one cover."

Wow Darrell Green if he's anything like that he would be an awesome pick midget or not
