Tariq Black gets cut. Sort of thought they'd keep this guy around but apparently there just isn't enough roster spots. With the addition of Lopez, Black became the odd man out I suppose. Lakers are talking with Nick Young and Tyler Ennis. One or both may get signed.

Yeah, adding the Leagues MVP at the 1 or 2 spot would be a terrible idea.

Now if he was a Trojan, I'm thinking he would be a perfect fit.

Just messing around tf, but since I'm on the topic, I'm thinking SC has a pretty good shot at the PAC CBB Conference Title this year.

They were pretty good last year, and they are bringing EVERYONE back.

Look out!

Young is going to golden State

Two guys who may end up Lakers are Dion Waiters and Rajon Rondo. Also Iguadola has been rumored to visit the Lakers. Deng needs to be sent somewhere or else average a triple double the rest of his ridiculous contract. lol.

I love Westbrook, but he is all wrong for the Lakers offense. He's a ball dominant, score first point guard. That's the antithesis of Luke's offense.

Yeah, I'm really happy with what Enfield has been doing. It seems like prospects that USC never could have even gotten a meeting with are starting to notice. USC will likely never be an NC contender in basketball, but being good enough to make some runs at the PAC title and make some decent tournament runs once in awhile would be fun.

Hard pass on Rondo. It doesn't even make sense. If Ball is the guy, let him be the guy from day 1. And you definitely don't want Rondo there to be a mentor to him. Dude is the most selfish PG I've ever seen. I've literally see him screw up an offensive sequence to chase his own assist totals.

Yeah, I'd rather see Ennis back. Then they need to find a taker for a 1-1 contract at SG and they're "set" I guess. I imagine Waiters will get better offers, but Afflalo is still unsigned, as is McLemore.

I really hope Young signs elsewhere, and it seems like he will. Can you imagine if Young and Beasley sign with the Warriors? That's a pretty strong risk of dumbassadry (word, lol?) combined with Jevale.

I disagree.....for 13-15mpg a night? Yes.

Magic and Pelinka would bring him in, sit his ass down, and tell him no BS. Magic is universally liked.....I don't see Rondo being an issue on a 1 year deal. If he happened to act up? They could cut him loose easily.

McLemore got signed with Memphis.

The Warriors are seriously interested in Young.

McGee is gone. They won't bring him back.

He doesn't fit the offense (no consistent perimeter game) and has never been the teaching type. Seems like chasing a name instead of a fit to me. Rose or Collison makes more sense to me, if not Ennis.

Still a lot of options at SG depending on which direction you want to go:

Veterans: Afflalo, Henderson, Allen, Green, Foye, VC (lol)?
Kids with upside: McDaniels, James Young, Ian Clark, Waiters (will get more years elsewhere)
RFAs (probably not in the plan): KCP, Roberson, Hardaway Jr, Simmons

Rondo made 38% of his 3's last season.....he's likely to sign a 1 year deal. Which is what the Lakers want.

Didn't exactly take many, less than 2 per game. Sounds like only wide open shots to me. His overall shooting percentage was less than 41%.

They don't need a scorer as a backup PG....they need somebody who passes the ball. He fits.

They have others to score. They didn't draft Ball to be a scorer.

You nailed it. Ball is a pass first point guard. Don't need a back up scoring pg . We have Jordan, Hart, as combo scoring guards. Rondo fits back up pg.

On a 1 year deal it makes a lot of sense. Especially, since Magic will let him know no BS will be tolerated.

Draymond Green is actively recruiting Nick Young, so he'll probably sign with GS.

Fultz seems like a clone of Russell. They both may excel at sg.
