I saw Petty the day after Jerry Garcia died. He puts on a good show, but I hate seeing bands in a goddamned sports arena.

Yeah, I've seen him a few times, always a good time with Tom. He usually plays the gorge here, he did the white River amphitheater once, which is like a mini gorge.

Haha, yeah, their show starts at 3:45pm. It's still a nice paycheck for them to play at large music festivals like this, but their crowd is going to be mainly the weekend campers looking forward to Ozzy that night.

Might not get another chance bruh..dey getting old. Yer in Boise right? That ain't that far!? I skipped em' in 2010-11, cuz I didn't really care for The Final Frontier, and just couldn't get to em on previous tours, for whatever reasons. The last real shot I had at seeing em, was in the late 90's when they were gaying up the joint with Blaze on lead vocals..(2 albums I pretend don't exist cuz they suck so hard) So I didn't have any desire to go to those shitty tours. Then Bruce got tongue cancer, and I thought I'd missed my chance, but he's back and as good as ever from what I'm hearing. Their setlist looks pretty legit, so my ass is going, even if I have to travel.

I saw Candle Box with Metallica and Suicidal..............they sucked ass TBH.............was supposed to be Alice in Chains but they cancelled last minute.

To be fair, I've seen Alice in Chains twice, one of which may have been the worst show I've ever seen. Staley was blackout fuvking drunk, and was making up lyrics as he went, most of which were juvenile fart noises en sech.
