According to Rivals... 4-star QB Jack Coan will be visiting for the Spring Game... Still think Gebbia is #1 on our board, followed by McCaffery and then Coan... McCaffery is all but a Michigan or Stanford lock though so it's Gebbia or Coan. Gotta think this visit will be an opportunity to tell Gebbia when he visits in March to commit now with KJJ or we'll keep recruiting Coan and first come first serve.

I'd go Coan, Gebbia, McCaffrey but that's just my untrained eye watching a few highlights

One of Nebraska's top recruits at DB, Djimon Colbert announced that he will be committing in March. Looks to be between Nebraska and Iowa.

Visiting Nebraska March 12th and making a decision between Nebraska and Iowa shortly thereafter. He's considered and Iowa lean, but he is friends with Eric Lee... and Nebraska targets Javon McQuitty and Keyshawn Johnson Jr. (who will also be visiting that weekend.)

And I thought the next exciting thing would be the Spring Game in April. I am WRONG again.

March Madness in recruiting for Nebraska football. Now that is exciting.

Hopefully, my son will be able to make a decision for Graduate School by March 31. Not one school has begged him, which tells me that getting into a grad school is tough. He applied to 16 grad schools Throw in some Nebraska, New Mexico, and Arizona. I don't think any school was further east than Ohio State. South, I think Arizona is the furthest south, and west it is either San Diego State or the Washington Huskies, no Hawaii. His top choices are Iowa, Purdue, and San Diego State.

I now get the Digimon reference, because of Djimon. That took me about five minutes to figure out that one.

Just a quick update... a TON of offers going out (16 alone to defensive line recruits in the last week) lately and amidst the flurry it's hard to know exactly who is the priority. Things will crystallize a bit in March during junior day. I still think Nebraska's first commitment comes in March... probably Keyshawn Johnson Jr., Gebbia or Colbert.

where do you get your information nut
You can check out any of the recruiting sites, or if you don't want to pay, follow some of the recruiting writers on Twitter. I'll come up with a list of guys I follow from HOL, 247, Scout, etc. They always retweet offers going out.

Edit: Here's a start for ya...there's a bunch more, but I did this pretty quickly: List members

Well I follow all the recruiting sites and twitter... also OWH does some stuff. Most of the stuff you can find yourself. I also have a few friends that keep track of those things and tell me stuff from other sites.

Anyway, speaking of offers... Austin Allen, TE from Aurora was the first in-state kid to receive an offer today. Kid is 6'8" can run and catch... good player... good offer.
