Don't forget how management is trained...in any business. If your numbers are down, you have to do something to show the higher ups that you are on the job and attempting a fix. So you fire someone and replace them with another person, you can control...but is also easily disposable.

In a four game series, this was the most Ks a Tigers team has ever had.

And we didn't even face the White Sox best.

Sad.

Avila could fire a coach(es), but that makes Ausmus look bad too. Like I have said...I would really like to see the "new" ownership step in here, fire Avila Sr and set forth a plan. (I would assume Ausmus and some of his coaches would be history too, IF that would happen).

Yes Doug.....The Tigers have had a long standing practice of signing only the finest Hebrew players. Moe Berg, Hank Greenberg, Iam Kinsler, Ty Cobb
