First time there was no worry they were going to blow the lead. Now the long wait until they continue their 4 game "home"stand in London.
It was the first time I turned off a game with less than 2 minutes left. It was tough watching them not protect the ball and give up the lead. Last night they played pretty good. Ben was lights out especially in the 1st qtr.
I watched the game and I didn't, I know I had it on in the 4th when they still had double digit leads, but kept fucking up with the starters in. It's something the team as a whole has to get over. I still can't get around how they lost to the Nets (I was working, so couldn't watch the game). For the most part the end of December through January was great and the only games they lost they had double digit leads in the second half, which is nice. I can't wrap my head around how they lose them so quickly and run around like chicken little. Granted, watching the start of this game, they looked like shit. There was no ball movement and Embiid and Simmons were trying to get theirs when it wasn't there. I won't fault Ben being aggressive, as he could choose to go there more often and more often than not with age, any take he does should have a foul called along with it. I feel like embiid tries to force some things just because he's talked shit agains that player on twitter, which is what the start of the game felt like.
JJ and RC3 left a lot to be desired tonight. Great job crashing the boards on those misses
Let him play in the main game, if he's good, but skip the skills and u.s. vs. the world game.
