This is a much difference game if Whiteside is playing. Bam is so intimidated by Nurkic size and is rushing everything that should be easy buckets. 1-10 shooting and I'll say 7 of those misses were within 3 feet of the rim

I don't know if you get it yet, I might need to start a thread about how losing is good just so you understand 100%. I could post more about the Rockets standing no chance against the Warriors no matter how good they've been or how the Raptors can't beat the Cavs in the playoffs but those topics are talked about plenty enough by other people.

So it's after midnight. If you go to bed now, either the Heat will lose (likely, down 12 on the road to a good team) or they will come back and win (you can see the highlights tomorrow). Just sayin'

NBA refs have been pretty bad this season. I don't know all the crews and how they compare to each other, they're all just lumped into one big subpar officiating ball.

I just know the bad refs. Anytime I see Marc Davis or Scott Foster then I'm expecting a crappy officiated game

As long as you REALLY REALLY get it, then I will hold off on the tank thread(I wasn't gonna make one anyway). I'm not sure everyone else REALLY REALLY gets it though, so I'll have to post some more tank updates throughout the last few weeks of the season to make sure they do. Not as many, but enough to keep people informed.

Heat are really good and very under the radar. But Portland is solidly the 3rd best team in the West, which matters. No shame in losing to them at their place.

Were Whiteside and Wade out on purpose? Was it planned? Load management???

From the Sixers perspective, some of the models have them with a chance to finish 3rd in the conference. While that may be awesome, if it means wearing down Embiid and the rest of the team, I would much prefer to rest players and have us ready to go in the playoffs regardless of the seeding.

Is that the same perspective for Heat fans?

Simmons has put a LOT of minutes in this season. He's played 64 of 65 games with 34 minutes a game played. Probably could use some rest himself.

Nope lol. Whiteside had a hip injury early Saturday & missed the Wizards game on Saturday. Wade on the other hand unfortunately had a very mild hamstring injury early in the 4th of the Wizards game. Both guys did travel so hopefully they play some point on this mini road trip.

Whiteside already missed more than enough games as is to get anymore before the Heat are locked in to their seed.

We're usually fine without Whiteside because we're pretty deep at 4/5. Last night was a bad match up with Hassan out because Nurkic is pretty damn big. Bam was no match for him.
