He's best suited to being a shooter off the bench imo. And he's not shooting very well this season so far.

He has been abysmal. I would love to move his contract, but that's unlikely to happen.

How many years?

Two more after this season. The real problem is he's so overpaid who would want to take that contract?

Then again, I never thought we would get rid of Joe Johnson's contract.

You may be able to move it next season around the trade deadline.

God, I hope so, man. Depending on whom we draft, he may not even start next season. Only reason he's starting now is because we're just that shallow at that position.

Surprised he got paid like he did....he didn't impress me much when he played for the Lakers. But, the money got crazy when he signed that deal.

He had a decent contract season. Then he went back to Earth.

Luka.

From what I've seen -- really good feel running the pick & roll -- and generally creating on offense. Solid jumpshot & 3-pt shot. Not an elite athlete.

Yeah. Not an elite athlete but he apparently can do everything else. He's 18 and playing at an all-star level for a quality European league.

We just look @ things differently. LeBron giving that Knicks rookie some shit (which was dumb) isn't nearly as bad as KD & his fake social media accounts trying to defend himself.
That shit with Durant showed how mentally weak he is when it comes to public opinion.

At least LeBron was man enough to say what he did about Frank out loud, even if it was clownish.

Durant decided to be a keyboard Warrior and blast the Thunder anonymously.

That was foul as fuck.

Ps. LeBron was right.

I think this is gonna be Deron Williams picked over CP3 part 2.

I'm not saying Smith will be anything close to Paul.

But, he will be better than, Ntililikina, the kid the Knicks picked.

So will Donovan Mitchell.

So will Malik Monk.

IDK about that.

That NY rookie PG has shown some real flashes......he's just super young and very raw.

The Bulls are bad.....how bad?

I'm glad you asked. So bad that the Lakers are -5.5 point favorites tonight.

I said in a previous comment he'd be too much a distraction, comment # 3444. So tell me again exactly what is it I don't understand. Like you said in this comment he'd only be a back up & nothing more. And that's exactly what I have already said. It's seems you wanna argue about things we agree upon. He'd be too much of a problem for multiple reasons for a team to sign him.

You also posted about 3 guys with a combined 15 starts using them as a reason he should be in the league. Soooo, that makes it look like you're not getting why he's not in the league.

If you understand and agree with why he's not in the league, then what's the point of comparing him to guys that are? The reason he's not in the league isn't going to change.

Seems like you're either arguing just to argue or trying to be on both side of the discussion at the same time.

Depends on what you're talking about being a backup.

You have to admit he's was at the very least better than Scott Tolzien, Blake Bortles, Trevor Siemian, Tom Savage and Mike Glennon who all started on opening day. He may be BETTER as a backup quarterback long term, but it's splitting hairs really in calling him a backup if he's already better than some starters.

Yet....he's still backup who's limited in the offenses that he can play in. In his style of offense he may be better than the guys you mentioned. But with the types of offenses most NFL teams run, not only would he likely be as bad as those guys, he may be worse.
