Great success for Spurs, bouncing back today after a bad showing @Arsenal earlier this week.

Spurs are a weird team. Seem to be a lot of ups and downs this year compared to the steady play last season.

Peter Bosz hanging by a noose now. 8 straight without a victory in any form for Dortmund. Liverpool choked big time. And Man City escapes but I don't think they really cared as they had that group locked up.

Happy to see Werner in good form for Leipzig. 2 goals today, 1 this past weekend, and 1 against France. Needs to keep that up as WC 2018 is just around the corner and striker is the one position Germany had a big need for and it may be filled now...hopefully.

Could be some interesting matchups in the 2nd round, especially if all the English teams win their groups. That means no English team will face another English team in the knockout round...but someone who won their group will get Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Juventus in the next round since these powers finished 2nd. Yikes.

Pretty bad 2 days for me and my family. Spartak draw (again) with Maribor, whereas CSKA look like they will be progressing into the knockout stages. We need to beat Liverpool and have Sevilla lose to Maribor...so yeah, Europa League here we come

Bayern put in a very sloppy performance today against a very inferior oppenent. I didn't like it and neither did Jepp. Only Ulreich got complimented for saving their lazy asses in the first half. Also lost Thiago and Robben to injury. According to Bayern Sporting Director Thiago may be out for a couple months.

Track fields and seating that is that far away from the field or pitch is disgusting. That's got to suck so much for Lazio and Roma fans.

On an off the pitch by all accounts. Roma Ultras reportedly attacked Chelsea supporters in a pub in Rome.

i really dont have any deep allegiance in futbol......as for the europe leagues i mostly follow the epl and like the underdogs (so no manchester and arsneal). in this tournament id like to see spurs or bayern win it all.

EPL has blown up in America. I got to go to an Arsenal match maybe 10 years ago with my Dad. Back in the heyday of Serie A, that was the best soccer in the world, now it's more poisoned with cheating and slow.

I have never been able to pick a team in the EPL, but I like Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany, and of course Spartak Moscow is my team.
