As amazing as getting a guy like Karlsson would be we would be ok just getting a Salvador/Volchenkov type. Someone we can throw out there to protect a lead and keep the front of the net clear. Guys were just waltzing in uncontested the entire 2nd half of that game.

Yeah, in a perfect world, I would love to have EK on the team, but not at a king's ransom that guts our prospects or current roster. I'd rather just sign the other Carlson and grab another defensive minded guy with the money you save.

the team comes flying out of the gate and takes care of the habs then take the foot off the gas and let them score 4. was it because they just coasted? or hiding bigger problem of defense and the goalies? shero really needs to address both of these areas this summer.

heres the thing i wonder too if hall isn't having the monster season hes having the devils are no where near a playoff spot. the next closest scorer is a 18 year old and hes 35pts behind hall! what does that say about the team? its taken a 26 game point streak and hall maybe hitting 90pts to get them here so what happens next year when hall comes back to earth?


this road trip will make or break the season. i personally think they will be ok since they seem to play their best against the top teams. i can see them walking away with 4 wins

I moved to northwest NJ. Sussex and Warren county got hit hard with outages due to the high winds. We had trees down all over. It was pretty bad here.

I am able to watch tonight's game which is good.
