Loving the Grabner deal right now. What did we NEED? And what did Shero just acquire? SCORING! A SCORER! Prospects are always suspects until proven otherwise. And that draft pick might never make it to the NHL. He is a rental at the moment but things can change based on performance.

Just think they resign Grabner to a three year deal and then ink Carlson this summer on the back end and this team is really cooking. Would be hard pressed to find a weakness.

Great job by the Devils organization tonight.
I knew Patty liked to crack jokes but guy is a comedian.
Cool to see all the faces we grew up watching in the 90s and 2000s. Also fun to see the current team experience the event and how much of an honor it was to play your entire career with one team. The Devils.
Only regret I have is not being there live. I had chance too.

Great ceremony and great game. Kincaid stepped up in a few spots tonight. Have to give credit where it's due.

How about Palmieri stepping up? That one goal was pure effort by him, it was awesome. Hopefully he stays hot.

20 games left. I'm hoping for a 14-6 stretch, lofty goal but with the addition of Grabner and (hopefully) return of Schneider there's no reason it's not possible.

that really was the best ceremony i think out of the bunch not just because his personality is 100% better then all the others but it seems like they went above and beyond for him. the intro was great walking through the stands the podium being made of pucks was cool. i'm shocked at how long it went that was insane 90 mins?


the game was good too obviously cause we won but i like the pace of the play grabner looked like he belonged and was great on the PK. i really hope they get him resigned.

that play was loud and it sounded like a playoff atmosphere. loved the engery when coleman got tripped twice on the same play and no call. really hope this team can make the playoffs. yeah the goalie is weak and defense is weak but what team outside of tampa doesn't have weaknesses?

Yea, we can really help our guys out by having a large and cheering crowd. The no calls that got the fans riled up was great to hear.

Something we need to show and give our guys a great boost in confidence and support on home ice.

We can be loud and crazy to throw off the other team but need to do it! If we make playoffs, I hope we get the large crowd and support that the team deserves.

3rd and JD Dudek (who?). He was a 6th round pick in 2014. It's a rental but I like it, we've been lacking a physical forward.

yeah i really like the maroon trade.

yeah hes a product of mcdavid to a degree but hes in a contract year and will be hungry at least i hope. adds some grit and a guy that can score the dirty goals which like many have said we are lacking. we just cant have all small fast snipers you need a balance and i think on the pp in front of the net he can do some serious damage.

grabner and maroon for 2nd/3rd dudeek and rykov? sign me up! only downside is i guess mojo is done for the year which sucks because he has great offensive upside

Was thinking Mojo is definitely done for based on the trades. Maroon is what Jimmy Hayes was supposed to be.

Ok, I'll say this, I DO like adding the big body in our forward department because I do share the concern and agree with the measures to improve that area against the possible playoff bigs we'll face. I'm super informed about Maroon other than knowing him so IDK what to expect. But a big body guy is something I can support behind.

Now, not happy(whats new) about losing a 3rd for a, what appears to me atm, a situational guy.... unless this is a HR type bet that makes big plays for us when we need them but i'm not sure I should hold my breath for it.

Losing the '18 2nd and '19 3rd for Grabner and Maroon aren't making me do backflips, hate losing those picks for ATM rental type players who aren't top guys necessarily, more like specialist that do have the pts to back them up.

I actually think Mojo won't be there for us... no news is good news but sometimes its devastating news too.... I'm not sure where he's at.
