I guess I was either giving Penn State too much credit, or it was an off day. Nonetheless, they crushed them and ran them over with their power run game that everyone said Michigan didn't have this year...

The only problem is that they lost Jeremy Clark for the year. I know he is their third string corner, but he was respectable when he played.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what in the hell happened to Kenny Allen. He was 18 of 22 last year and now it seems he can't make anything outside of an XP. I'm guessing it has to do with him splitting time as P and K but that's just a guess. I'll take the win against Wisc, though I'd prefer to have a kicker I can count on.

On one hand, I would say we need a reliable kicker for the close games.

On the other.......we did just win a close game while missing three field goals.

I don't think the game was as close as the score made it seem. Even with all the missed field goals and low number of points, Michigan could move the football surprisingly well, unlike Wisconsin. They just couldn't capitalize in the red zone, which was disappointing...

I turned the game off early in the 3rd qtr.. The end score 78-0 was a bit much.. Has JH lost his mind or did Rutgers suck that bad

Rutgers sucks that much......Harbaugh was just running it between the tackles with 3rd and 4th string backs and Rutgers couldn't stop it.....Most of the 3rd quarter and all the 4th quarter I didn't recognize any of the players cept O'korn.....

Not to sound racist but it was hard to find a black player from michigan on the field in the 4th quarter.

If I remember the stat correctly, Michigan attempted 3 passes the entire second half. I think it was more about Rutgers quitting on the game. We didn't have holes that big much in the first half. Hell, it took Peppers it the wildcat to spark our offense to do anything in the first few drives.

First year in a long time where I actually feel little brother is going down. I'm saying that with confidence this year and actually mean it.

MSU hasn't looked good at all.....Just like Tennesee.....They kept winning ugly and finally ran into Alabama and it showed......Wisconsin has looked good all year and they should have beat OSU...OSU had to come from behind and pull it out in over time......Michigan I believe never trailed Wisconsin and missed 3 Field goals.....We can compete this year with the buckeyes.

You're right we never trailed Wisconsin. As long as our players don't take the week lightly, I think we'll be okay against lil bro. Book it, for the 11th consecutive year, Dantonio is going to be talking about little brother and respect during Michigan week. They may not have looked good at all this year, but they will be playing their best against us.

For Ohio State, I think we're closer than we've been in a long time, but I still think they have more speed and talent at most all of he positions. The main exceptions being Gary and Peppers. Remember, we still have years of recruiting gaps to makeup. Our classes may have looked good on paper, but some of those players just didn't develop.

It's not Michigan going easy. We've made some mistakes that have kept points off the board. Chessen had a rare fumble that killed a drive and the Illini are staking the box to slow our run now.
