1. 8-4 with strong possibility of 9-3
2. Saquon Barkley
3. Brandon Bell if he stays healthy, if not, Garrett Sickels
4. Miles or Blake Gillikin from #DaPride16, Kevin Givens or Nick Bowers from RS guys
5. Absolutely without a doubt. Anyone who thinks he's even on a warm seat, let a lone a hot seat after enduring the harshest part of sanctions with 2 winning seasons is crazy. His move on firing Donovan and hiring Moorhead will pay HUGE dividends as well. This team will be a LOT more fun to watch going forward.

1. 7-5, 7-6 after another loss in a bowl match-up we shouldn't be involved with. I see 8 as the ceiling.
2. Barkley
3. Wartman
4. Barbir or Gillikin
5. He'll be back unless we somehow implode and go 4-8.

Another prediction: I can change my avatar away from construction cones that have represented our offensive line for the past two seasons.

Yeah, for several reasons. Nelson healthy for first time in his career, Bates will be starting, Gaia much better suited for center than guard, real battles for the other 2 spots....Beh really pushing Palmer at RT and Dowery/Mahon and several others battling for the other guard spot. Real depth and competition something we've not had on OL in 4 years. The new offense will also help them out ALOT. People won't be able to just bring the house with an offense that will adjust every play at the line and account for blitz along with a mobile QB who won't be in teh same spot for your pass rush every play

I am thinking 7-5 also. Maybe 6-6.

Not sure how you have confidence in a coach who hired an assistant that installed an offense that was not conducive to the current QB. No doubt he caught the worst end of the sanctions but you have to wonder about Donovan. I also believe they have lost games due to poor game day coaching decisions.

Franklin is the coach for at least two more years. If he can't win 9 games, 8 at worst in his 4th year he shouldn't be the coach.

I see Penn State at 7-5 and a shot at 8-4.

W - Kent State
W/L - Pittsburgh - state rivalry game. Narduzzi is a good coach. Just depends on which players feel like winning. Advantage to Pittsburgh because it is in Pittsburgh, but I think the talent level at Penn State is better than Pittsburgh. I will take talent level in a state rivalry game.
W - Temple - not buying it. 2015 Temple played an easy schedule. Penn State will not lose this one.
L - Michigan
W - Minnesota new coach
W - Maryland - new coach
L - Ohio State
W - Purdue - should have a new coach
L - Iowa
W - Indiana - could be an interesting game, but the Indiana offense lost fire power
W - Rutgers - new coach
L - Michigan State

Personally, I am not buying the hype on Pittsburgh. But I have been wrong many times in the past.

BTW, Vegas had Penn State at 6.5 wins.

Fair enough assessment. Indiana worries me more than Pitt does to be honest. Game is at Pitt, but will be more than 50% PSU fans there and they lost their entire passing offense with Boyd/Holtz gone. Also not nearly the rivalry it was in past when PSU had a ton of Western PA kids on roster. I doubt DMV and jersey kids care much about Pitt. I think we get one of the Iowa/MSU games and lose to someone like IU and the record is where you have it in the end.

What you think Huskers will do this year? I have seen predictions for them all over the place from 6-10 wins.

Nebraska is the same as Penn State, 7-5 low end, absolute best is 9-3. I will guess 7-5 so the record will be 8-4. Nebraska defense is the question mark. Take the over in the Nebraska Oregon football game and the Nebraska Indiana game. Last year, I predicted Nebraska at 4-8.

Sadly losing one of the countries best punters really hurts them. Very sad for the Husker family.

After seeing the depth chart I have a bad feeling about my prediction that our line will improve enough for me to get rid of these construction cones... 2 deep at each guard position with the second string being true freshmen does not bode well unless everybody stays healthy.

Those are elite talent freshman, one of whom has been in program since December, right? Not like we've never played freshmen OL or teams like Bama and OSU don't....get best players on field. We recruited these guys to play, McGovern has been a beast in camp, menet best OL we've gotten since Wiz and he's more advanced at this point than Wiz. It actually made me more confident in my prediction that these kids are for real and not stuck behind guys we know can't do the job. We actually have a 2 deep and won't shuffle 4 guys around if someone is hurt...McGovern will be starting by game 3, if not sooner, he's that good.
