Inter playing Lazio right now, surprised their aren't more fans, considering how powerful this league was just a handful of years ago.

One team league like the Bundes
Since 2000, 5 different teams have won Serie A (Lazio, Milan, Inter, Juventus, Roma), Same as:
The Bundesliga (Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, and Werder Breman)
La Liga (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Deportivo la Coruna)
and the Premier League (Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Leicester).

Yeah why are we going back to 2000? Juventus won every league title since 2012 and will likely make it a 5th straight this year. AC Milan won in 2011 and Inter won the previous 5 years. So assuming Juventus win this year, it would mean that Juventus and Inter won 10 of the last 11 titles....Both winning 5 in a row at one point.

Yeah not interested

Don't get me wrong, Bundesliga and La Liga is just as bad. It's why I like the EPL for the most part. You don't know what team is going to win yearly. In La Liga you know its going to be Real or Barca almost always.

True but that's relatively new. Before Abramovich bought Chelsea (a perennial mid-table team) and the oil sheiks bought Man City (also a perennial mid-table team) and opened the cash flood gates, the EPL was pretty much Man United and Arsenal every year (with the one Blackburn anomaly). Thought to be fare, before the advent of the Premier League in 1992, the old 1st Division was very competitive.

And don't get me wrong, I prefer the EPL, but historically, Serie A has been very competitive, the Calciopoli Scandal propelled Inter to those 5 straight (one awarded after the fact, the others a result of Juventus and Milan being penalized), and Juve's current streak is a result of good management/business on their part, and bad business/management on the part of Inter and Milan, though ironically, both have beaten Juve this season in Milan.

Juventus-v-Inter.jpg

What a weekend this will be. Atlanta Falcons are in the Super Bowl, I turn 31, and then this sexy matchup all on the same day.

Inter Milan was the first European game I ever went to, and I've followed them ever since. With our current form, I think it's very possible that we take down Juventus this weekend which would really help with tightening up this year's race for the scudetto.

Pazza Inter!
