Getting back to the BMW 7-series, if you had the cash, wouldn't you rather purchase a M5? 7 series to me is like BMW's version of a Buick, beautiful car, but it's something your envision your grandfather driving. M5, now that's an enthusiast's car.

My current is a 08 A4 S line. I love it so much. I want a new Passat or CC, but just can't fathom letting this car go.

Until, of course, this becomes available:

Next Audi Q7

A8 and VW Phaeton (supposedly returning next year) are amazing. And they hide a secret. The drivetrain and chassis is the exact same as Bentley Continental.

Last generation Phaetons can be had for 15 grand nowadays.
I think the 2018 Q5 is my next buy.

If you're buying a 7, you're almost always buying it as a status symbol.

But yes, if it were I it would be an easy choice for the M5.

I'd take the E63 over it though.

A little dealership on the island imported that baby from Japan, a rarity because the majority of Japanese imports are right-hand drive, but this wagon has the steering wheel on the correct side (lol).

All depends on if you are a stodgy old fogey or a virile young stud.

A couple of years ago I got a 740i as a rental from Avis in Honolulu at a dirt cheap rate. Big boat of a car, nice bells and whistles but not my cup of tea. It didn't corner on rails and wasn't particularly good off the pavement either.

I've seen a few of these babies on the mean streets of Burnaby - Just gorgeous.

Hey, why not a World Hockey Championship related item? This tweet is about three weeks old, but I found it interesting:

Bochenski is joke to you?? Wait that's Ukraine.

Seriously Brandon Bochenski is kind of a big deal. There's a trophy named after him in Ottawa. It goes to the Sens player who absolutely tears the pre-season a new cornhole, then never does anything after October 1.

We have one of those, currently named for Nick Foligno.

A former Senator. HMMMMMM

tangent but speaking of brothers and toppers ... talking to my bro yesterday and saying ... Im hoping Kelowna Rockets win game 7 (tonight) so I can possibly go to a Rockets playoff game this weekend at some point since Im gonna be up there

My brother was hoping the Kings were gonna win last night because he was gonna be in LA and bought game 5 tickets on stub hub

... PLUS Ill probably have to pay more for my WHL ticket than he paid for his Kings game 5 playoff ticket :pout:
