A lot of things seem to be coming together at the last minute.

Yep, Austin will be on a plane within the hour on his way to Norman.

We're getting deep...and all of the 2016 commits are making the future an exciting possibility. Cooks and Bedenbaugh seem to be the future.

Prior to this season I didn't expect much and halfway wanted Bob to fall on his face. I thought he had completely lost "it" and was just on cruise control collecting the check and making sure his family was stable and comfortable. Now I think Bob wants to fight, he wants to win often and big...that's the whole reason for going back to the Mumme/Leach offense. That's the whole reason we've made Mike more of an "advisor" and have brought in young, relevant coaching talent on the D.

If the ship continues in this direction, we might sniff another NC. Just maybe.

Caller on the daily sports show here on Tulsa radio says he knows the kid's dad. Dad said the boy is going to school, so he's in Norman. He stated that he wouldn't be allowed to workout with the team for several days.

It's just weird that the university is keeping this quiet for whatever reason.....think they have his scholly dangling in the wind for another last minute prospect?

If so, I'd guess It would go to Baxter who is attempting to walk on at OU after being released from his LOI with South Florida for not qualifying academically. Dede Westbrook raves about him some rated him as the JUCO #2 WR only behind Westbrook.

Haha. More good news for the Sooners via The Norman transcript. Appears Dominique Franks still has some college eligibility and returned to practice after his minor injury. Not sure I'd have him as a middle linebacker but I'm sure Kish knows what he's doing.

I have a feeling that even the university doesn't really know what is going on in the mind of Woods.
