Lot of regional hosts lost yesterday and will have to fight their way through the losers bracket including a couple national seeds

I am so fucking pissed @ Nebraska baseball I could spit.

They swept both Texas and Michigan, yet those teams rebounded enough to win their conference tournaments and get auto-bids to regionals.

Nebraska, who back in April sat (23 -7), ranked, and was widely seen as a regional lock, went straight downhill without pause (11-17) and played their way out of regionals along the way.

In the second half of the season they were swept twice, likely a third time if the last Illinois game weren't cancelled, and lost a home series to Purdue.

Took the fucking wind right out of me.
