Just took a look at Iowa's schedule for the coming season. Sure looks favorable!!

Aug. 30 vs. No. Iowa went 7-5, a down year from what we are accustomed to
Sep. 6 vs. Ball St went 10-3 and lost their bowl game.
Sep. 13 vs. Iowa St went 3-9, I don't think ISU has much returning.
Sep. 20 @ Pittsburgh went 6-6 and won their bowl game.
Sep. 27 @ Purdue went 1-11
Oct. 11 vs. Indiana went 5-7
Oct. 18 @ Maryland went 7-6 and lost their bowl game.
Nov. 1 vs. Northwestern went 5-7
Nov. 8 @ Minnesota went 8-5 and lost their bowl game.
Nov. 15 @ Illinois went 4-8
Nov. 22 vs. Wisconsin went 9-4 and lost their bowl game.
Nov. 28 vs. Nebraska went 9-4 and won their bowl game.

Certainly looks like two tough games to end the season...but both are at Iowa!!
5 games against teams that didn't go bowling.
The 5 road games --- wow!!

I've got lots of early optimism.

went to scout and checked, they have us at 41...for 2015 though, it is interesting, there is a pair of brothers from Moville Iowa, both have offers from Iowa, both only list Iowa as their only school, both offensive line guys who are both 4 stars Landan and Levi Paulsen...the funny thing is scout lists them as only medium interest in Iowa, gotta love these sites

the Paulsen brothers committed today...so our recruiting class for next year already has three 4 star recruits on it with 5 guys committing, Newburg is a 3 star and Marv Cook's son is just a 1 star although I would bet that gets better before he is done.


I guess Beneventi is still open to other offers though, even though he committed, which drives me nuts, don't commit til you are sure.
