Numbers have been assigned for the 2013 Notre Dame football freshmen team members for all but one incoming frosh and as it is every year, it’s fun to run through the numbers and see who got historically significant – and sometimes infamous – numbers.

I'd have to say Zaire will have the greatest impact, just based on the position, and the fact that I think he will get a lot of playing time, even if Rees stays the starter. With Baratti's injury, on defense it could be Redfield. Another I think could have an impact, because we have no proven stars at running back could be Bryant. I know you asked for one, but these three could be big this year.

I know it's been said twice, but I really think Bryant is gonna play a huge role. Last year proved that Kelly seems to like the "committee" style when using his RBs. GAIII is a stud, but he's gonna be spelled a bit and I see Bryant doing some good things. I'm excited for his presence.
