The game is changing rushing records are less likely to be broken. Anything passing will likely get broken as passing continues to become a bigger part if the game, the explosion on 7 on 7, and constant rule changes favoring offense

No school is ever going to break our record of passed out students in attendance at a game. No officials account but I think it was close to 9,000 people were passed out when we got beat by $C in 2008.

I think most of those are going to stand the test of time, but #17, #11, & #8 are probably getting broken in the next decade or so.

Some records yes other records no. I personally feel it is complete and utter crap to consider someone a single season record holder counting post season when it was excluded in the past. Also take into consideration that a season was 11 games, teams now have the opportunity to play 15. Sorry, it is not the same.

Some of these records I am baffled exist. 9 interceptions in a game to the same player? Run the ball! Also while the Oklahoma win streak record is damn impressive I wouldn't call it unbreakable. Two teams came within a game or two of this record. Highly improbable, but not impossible. Also most punting yards in a game record... what the hell did they punt on first down every time and have it returned for touchdowns every time?

Yep. I was just gonna ask what coach lets a guy throw 9 picks?

Five, yeah let him stick it out.

Six or seven, you gotta realize it just isn't his day. Let someone else take some snaps. Or like you said, hand the ball off. Geeesh. Nine!?!

11 TDs I can see falling when someone has an axe to grind. If a team is hell bent on throwing it, some teams just can't stop it. But there would have to be a lot of existing bad blood.

How about 1996 Nebraska not allowing a single sack?

And tooting my own team's horn from 1901 to 1905, Yost's Michigan teams compiled a record of 55–1–1 and outscored their opponents by a combined score of 2,821 to 42. In Michigan's 1901 season, they won all 11 games by a total of 550-0.

I suspect those won't be touched in the era of modern football.
