i got milk all day.

Now why can a 5t in ngata play DE here? im confused? i cant put freeney at DE in a 3-4 but a 5t can play DE?

A 5tech is the designation for a DE in a 3 man front. Some schemes will call that a DT, if he shades inside, but to answer your question, ends in a 3-4 need to be 290+, because unlike a four man front, it's easier to double the end in the run game with a chip or straight double. In your match-up with me, that means Tyron Smith and Gronk blow the 265 pound Freeney 10 yards off the ball. A guy like Ngata at 330-335 can split that double and hold enough ground to free the LB's up. Hope that helps

He can play 3-4 DE or NT he could also be substituted into a 4-3 but fits better in a 3-4. Freeney plays LB in a 3-4 and he is only a 4-3 DE. Totally different.

your right... i for some reason always forget about Rodgers... But i do think favre is close to Rodgers...

I will agree that my LBs and CBs are my team's weakness... but my safeties hide my CBs well...

You can't hide your CB's if they are going 1-on-1. You cant double any of my WR's bc then either LT goes wild or my TE's go wild. Not sure how you could stop my offense.

lets not pretend my CBs were bad... yes, champ bailey is by far the best CB in this matchup, but i would easily take McAlister and Peters, even Rodgers-cromartie over O'neil and Winfield...

Mcalister over my 3rd CB but Winfield was pretty underrated. The fact is I have a lockdown CB and your safeties cannot double. Bruce and Moore have the advantage. but the biggest mismatch is my TE's on your LB's...I just don't know how you would stop him. I mean Mcnair isn't a scrub he had a worse team around him than Warner and lost the SB by one yard.

I can pull a safety if I need to and your RB's aren't a threat out of the backfield. CJ2K was decent.

Well unless a teams' offense just doesn't have weapons offense will be looked at more but it's what defense limits another one more. I just don't see you having much running game so when a team can focus on just passing it helps A LOT IMO

It really doesn't matter if he labeled as 3-4 DT or 3-4 DE it is virutally the same thing in my defense. I line him up between the tackles and he can split the double inside or out. The point is he normally plays in a 3-4 defense at DE or NT. Freeney never played on a 3-4 line, he could be an OLB/rusher though.

why the hate on my RBs?? CJ is the fastest RB we have seen, and he has put up a season with the most scrimmage yards of all time... and then i have the bus who is one of the best power backs of all time...

not sure how you can make a better speed/power combo than these 2...

I dont hate him but I have great and fast LB's. I don't think he can get to the outside against my team. If I had your LB's I think you win easily, if that makes sense.
