He is 41 and hasn't pitched in the bigs in 9 years, it would be an amazing story if he was able to come back and be effective after this long... I hope the Twins sign him, what's to lose? We will suck anyhow and he's probably still better than most of the pitchers in our system...

Yeah his 2003 is probably top 3 seasons for a reliever all time IMO...

I bet over 128.5 on UM vs Wisconsin the score was 127 and UM stole the ball and ran out the clock when he could have dunked it. Lost $500.

It's been a difficult couple days, I have told my two longest running fantasy football leagues that I am retiring from fantasy football, my Minnesota friends did not take it well... Been playing fantasy football more than 20 years now and it's just not fun anymore...

Yeah, my co-commish called it quits after 12 years at the end of this past season. We're hoping we can still hold the draft at his place, though. And make him grill up some burgers and dogs for halftime. And make sure the binger is packed during the draft.

Yeah this past season was season 20 with my Minnesota friends and my other long running league just finished our 11th season. I honestly don't know why it's just not fun at all for me anymore, this past season I was in I think 6 leagues and I did absolutely no research just drafted, that includes the two leagues we had on yahoo, the draft and auction leagues, 10 years ago I would spend at least 30+ hours reading, studying schedules, past numbers, making projection cheat sheets everything I could do to get ready for the upcoming season...

Yeah... my buddy told me the same thing pretty much. He just doesn't keep up with football like he used to. When he drafted Jay Ajayi in the 1st round this year, I knew the possibility was real.
