So, that makes 4 losses now for Texas in games that were not decided under 60 seconds

So close....and yet so far away

I guess it is better than getting blown out all the time like 2014 and 2015

Texas really is a heck of a lot better team. They can play with anyone, just need some more Auburn like luck.

I think Charlie deserves one more year. This team is frustrating but more than competitive with every team.

I am not on another year, for different reasons. That said, you can not argue this team is much improved from last year and even a month ago

I DO agree with Charlie when he says Texas will be a good team next year regardless of coach. I like that QB a lot and RB's seem to grow on trees down there these days. Might need a big time WR with the new system but I cant see that being a problem.

2) Charlie deserve blame for finding ways to lose all these close games over and over.

It is no longer a talent deficit situation. This team is far more talented than the teams of 2010-2015.
It seems like a mental block and heaping pile of bad luck now.

2) Charlie deserve blame for finding ways to lose all these close games over and over.

For me it comes down to management. He has recruited his ass off. The team should win 10 next year. The issue is coaches. 2 mid-season coordinator fires in 3 years. I was forgiving on the first. Having the same issue on the same side as your core competency is a huge red flag. I just have little faith that he can make quality hires and manage the staff. I belive he can coach players, not coaches. He could kill it with an AD like Tom Osborne or Barry Alverez.

I was at the game, and that defense was pretty stiff. Texas had their chances and didnt convert. Good luck the rest of the way.

If a change is going to be made, need to be on the hunt for an AD now. Not sure a coach is going to want to come in with our current AD, who is probably a short-timer. But that's all I got to say, not anything I can do about it anyway.

Just can't do what they did to Charlie. you need to get someone hired and approve a staff quickly, so theyou can recruit

Texas had 580 yards of offense, over 100 plays, and yall kept Texas out of the endzone. I believe in the end, that was this game. Texas defense has gotten better, since the meltdowns at the beginning of the season, but was not enough today.

Other than losing, I thought it was a pretty good game. Saw a number of WVU folks today enjoying the festivities.
