BYU counts as a power team now? Odd timing considering how bad they were last season.

BYU was better previously for a few years there, but then this just shows why labels like "P5" are stupid. They don't really say shit about real team strength.

BYU right now is borderline to be considered P5 and a season like last year was certainly not worthy. Yet, teams like Kansas and Oregon St can suck for decades at a time and nobody bats a fucking eye at calling them "P5".

The entire "power team" label is total bullshit and says nothing about actual team strength.
