Hell of an effort to get back within 6. They played their best basketball of the season this week. I hope they get an invite sunday night, I would love to watch them play some more.

Really doubt we get any invite with a losing record. Just don't see it happening

We are good enough to win the NIT.

It just sucks that we had to go without Shavon for a period of time, and then deal with him having to work his way back into things.

We are not the average 16 win team.

Unfortunately there are a plethora of 20 and 21 win teams fighting to get into the big dance. NIT will have a big pool of 17, 18, 19, and 20 win teams to choose from.

Yea.

It just sucks we were dealt that hand.

Any other player on the team going out like that we could have handled, but it had to be Shavon. We have really paid these last 2 seasons for the good season we had a couple years ago.

In 2013 and 2014 Purdue and Penn st both selected to CBI. Both finished 2 games under .500.

CBI isnt optimal, but its an opprotunity to play in as many as 6 more games.

I'd be happier than hell to get an invite to the CBI.

I feel bad for Shavon and Benny though. It has to be heart breaking to go to the Tourney a couple years ago and then not even sniff it these past 2 years.

I'm sure CBI to them isn't too appealing at the moment.
