Well this game is gonna be huge for us... Defense needs to show up and Kizer needs to keep his great ways.

I'm not overly concerned with this game. Michigan State runs typical pro-style offense that matches up better for our terrible defense. Michigan has played against one team that I have never heard of and looked underwhelming. New MSU quarterback playing in ND under the lights where ND typically plays extremely well at home in prime time. I honestly think ND wins this game no problem. Maybe no more than a 7 point victory but ND handles MSU via the stat line.

Well I think MSU slept through its first game and had a bye. They'll be rested and ready. That said they haven't been battle tested yet.

My concern is, look how involved Stepherson, Wiiliams and Coney were. What happens if/when the school comes down on them?

Dexter and Coney more of a concern than Stepherson. Coney would be the biggest loss, we can't afford to lose anyone on defense. Pisses me off losing Crawford

We always seem to lose the best players at the thinnest positions. The law of averages hasn't turned.

Has Folston become our 3rd best back? I think that injury really took something away from him. Adams looks better in my opinion, and Dexter looks more explosive.

Also Dexter is looking much bigger than last season

Folston's put on a bit of weight. I think it's slowed him down a bit. But he still has made some good cuts. He's nowhere near as fast as Adams and Williams though.

Man I am ready for this game. I already made this weekend my weekend. No plans just sitting home watching football. THis game will tell us where ND is headed. are we going to fall down or continue to get up from week 1.

I agree lots of good games on also this weekend... if ND wins I see a Top 10 team... if they lose we are unranked.

I agree, I dont know about top 10 yet. We want Texas to keep winning. We beat MSU I see us between 11-14.

Im going to be honest here about ND. I dont think we are a top 10 team. I just dont like this defense. Offense is great. I wish the Oline was as advertised but they are not. They are good but not great and not #1 in the country yet. Lets hope they get better week by week. Something about this team doesnt seem right.

I would like to throw in Cole Luke. I really like him. He has been a shut down CB except for that 1 TD against Texas.

Issac Rochell has played great, but he's just one guy on defense. Seems like the other 10 only show up occasionally. I do like that Coney and Morgan are playing LB. They may not know where the hell to go but they get there in a hurry.

Yes. He did get beat but it was one hell of a catch.

Im ready for this game. Now with 2 games in the book this is a true test to see where this team is going to go this year. Im excited.
