Nope, but if he's smart he'll wait it out. No reason to drop your asking price until your agent gauges interest after the draft. He's the best WR FA available. Some team that misses out on drafting their target will likely be willing to pay top dollar.
Ur spot on

Top Dollar??? What do you consider top Dollar? The #10 WR average salary is $14M per year. He ain't getting that. The #20 is $9.5M and I would be surprised if he got that. Oh and that is Pierre Garcon who isn't even very good...why the Hell did they give him that much money???? Maybe he will get that? I was thinking $8M per year max

Holy crap. The WRs that signed this year that are in the $10M per year range all are average WRs

Donte Moncrief $9,600,000
Pierre Garcon $9,500,000
Marqise Lee $8,500,000
Paul Richardson $8,000,000

Damn. None of these is close to a #1 and I bet there are a lot of teams these guys wouldn't even start on.

I guess Dez could get $10M, but whoever gives it is likely going to be sorry.

WR contracts are unreal these days. He could easily get a 1 year deal for over $10mil.

Yeah, as crazy as I thought that was before looking, I guess I can see it now. Probably not though because the money has dried up at least to some extent

Yea it will be interesting to see where & for how much these FAs go for. I think if Dez wants to maximize his contract then he's looking at a 1 year deal. Doubt anyone would want to tie themselves to him long term.

OAK, WAS or GB seem like good fits... But I think his asking price is too high right now so teams are content to wait until after the draft.
Jacksonville needs receivers.

I'd rather have Dez than guy like ARob, who never even plays.

I'd take him in Detroit. We don't need any receivers but we don't have a TE.

That's a good point. But if A-Rob stays healthy he's easily the better option. I'd feel better about paying A-Rob than Dez. A-Rob played 2 full 16-game seasons back to back in '15 & '16. But at least Chicago was smart enough to only sign him to a 1 year deal.

I don't blame Chicago for signing him. They had the worst receiving corps in the league.

Hell, I wouldn't fault em for signing Dez. They're an injury away from Jordan Howard being their best receiver, again.

Was just about to say... Now that you mention it, Chicago makes a ton of sense as well lol

They really should go after him.

Takes receiver off the table the first couple rounds if they do.
Scary putting 2 big FA WR's under 1-year contracts, but the nucleus is young enough so why not?

Bingo. An overhyped diva whose best days are behind him and seems to drop more balls each year? Just no. Please no.
Yep. He's way too concerned about his own stats.
