His balls seem just fine, I guess

Good for him, silence the hay-tores for a change

Wouldn't know anything about his balls but I will take your word for it

Being from Texas, I am rooting for the Astros.

But....

Being 50 years old, I would not mind a Dodgers-Yankees World Series just for the childhood nostalgia sake.

And I think they had a 3-2 lead in the '97 World Series.

terry francona has now blown back to back leads of 3-1 in the WS, and 2-0 this past series.

its funny because thats how he got his rings here. other teams collapsing, and now hes done it.

Congrats to the Yankees. They're an awesome team and as much as I hate them, I hope they kick the shit out of the Astros.

Here are the things I think were most responsible for the Indians' collapse.

1) I think Kluber is injured. I think that's why they had him start Game 2, why they had Perez catch him, and why he sucked.

2) The Indians' cupcake schedule in September was great for helping them chase down the Astros for best AL record, but facing nothing but shit pitching left the hitters ill-prepared to face a team capable of pitching like the Yankees did.

3) The Yankees pitching and their planning is fucking good. Totally neutralized our best hitters.

@DirtDirtDirt

Saw this pic you posted and I've put it up as my avi for our bet on Game 4. If you want me to use something else, let me know.

Congrats.

Hopefully my boys will take you guys down in the ALCS, it's been a rough 2 days being an Astros fan

Smoltz is sensational to listen to, from the first inning he was pointing out how Kluber was getting under his pitches and missing spots already

Ive seen too many times the last 2 decades when heavily favored Yankee teams would just see their offense go completely dead for a week in October...Its contagious, its frustrating to watch, and its a hard funk for a team to snap out of overnight....Ive watched guys like Kenny Fucking Rogers dominate the powerhouse Yankees twice in 5 days, nothing worse as a fan to just know with every AB, that guys arent gonna come through

Yankees, Patriots and any team with LeBron can't play the 'nobody believes in us' card.

Stat nerds were super high on the Yankees coming in to the playoffs.

That said, congrats on knocking off the favorite

Agreed heading into the playoffs, but many of those same stat nerds had them finishing the season under .500 for the first time in about 25 years

True but everyone thought the Yanks were done after that terrible game 2....including most yankees fans.
