You know me i want to go for it this season and not keep waiting because the longer you wait it gives other teams a chance to stock up as well. Not to mention our core gets another year older. i say go for it now.

Couts finished #2 for Selke behind Kopitar and ahead of Bergeron. He wins next year.

So the salary cap is set to increase 5 million next season. That is huge. And it didn't take long for Trotz to find a new gig with the Islanders. I would think the Caps should get some kind of compensation for this, no?

I would think Trotz going to the Isles all about guarantees the Isles dont lose Taveras for nothing. I would think Taveras stays with the club or at the very least a sign and trade. As far as compensation i wouldn't want to give it to Washington they dont need any more help.

I love McKinnon but i cant take away an MVP from Gee for not missing any games. If nothing else i think that playing a full season would further his case as the MVP .

    I
wonder if the Flyers will eventually trade Morin? If they draft Smith (who I really like), I would think one of these young dmen would be trade bait for a bigger key piece at some point.

I really want to see Morin play for an extended time in the nhl. Just to see what he is at that level.

At this point I don’t think he has a ton of value to other organizations. Hasn’t been able to crack a flyers roster that quite frankly hasn’t been fantastic defensively. Not a great sign.

These big guys sometimes take some time to develop let's hope that's the case with Morin. When they do turn out watch out!!!!
