Well, It will be hard watching the Bears tomorrow since my football watching is now ruined until about Thursday or Friday.

Anyways, let's get to it.

It was a tough game to watch. I had a bad feeling about the game before kickoff, then once the game started it just seemed Michigan's offense was faster in every way than our defense. Offensively we looked pretty solid, moved the ball well. One real bad mistake by Rees, maybe two if you count the forced throw into the endzone on our last possession.

Negatives:
Defense was awful, over matched, out coached, purely out played
Rees turns the ball over 2 times, almost 3
Leaned on throwing the ball more than I would like
Atkinson

Positives: (Hard taking positives from a loss, I know)
Offense moved the ball
Rees threw the ball fairly well
Carlisle looked good when he got his touches


Well let's let it out this week fellas and get back into the win column next week. I fully expect to be ripped apart by a selective few. I deserve it, I suppose.

Atkinson needs to be more consistent when coming out of the backfield in the passing game. Carlisle was a highlight of this game. Diaco needs to go back to the drawing board because that isn't going to get it done.

One more thing, Tommy needs to learn when to throw the ball into the seats and not try to force a play, I've been saying this for 4 years (especially the three he started).

Do not get me started on GA3.....You all like him, but I think he sucks as a RB! If I see him or Cam back there again, I am going to shit a brick!! You have 2 RB that you fought hard over in recruiting....so fucking play them! Carlisle is the best RB right now....use GA3 in the passing game and let the kids get their chances!

ga3 was terrible. couldn't catch a cold. yet we kept throwing to him ..... why?

and did tommy throwing the fade into the endzone corners .... were ANY of those actually inbounds? even when he had time (and he did a few times) he overthrew the ball.

i blame golson for this loss!

I did...but where else are you going to use him? KO only?? Give him less responsibility and use him in the passing game till he gets his head out out of his ass. You can not totally get away from him right now. Might lose him for the rest of the season.

from what i've seen of him ... it wouldn't be much of a loss.

Maybe we can add some jet sweeps to the playbook specialized for Atkinson.

I honestly don't know what to do with the guy.

He should not be carrying the ball more than Bryant. Carlisle is our #1, Bryant should be lifted to the #2, and McDaniel stays the #3.

Im having a bad sports weekend. First my yankees lose 3 in a row to Boston and ND loses to Mich and I have a feeling my 49ers will lose to the Pack.

I don't see why there is so much talk about offense. The defense stunk! 41 points. 460 yards. What kind of offense were you expecting that could cover that kind of defensive performance? Fix the defense and we have a chance, but we will not win many games with the defense I have seen for the last 2 weeks.

The issue is he dropped passes and would then make some great catches, I don't want them to move on but they need to work with him on being a better receiver, he did average 7.4 yards per carry.

We have a good RB with Carlisle. I think GA3 is going to lose alot of playing time when the Freshman are ready to play more. I was never a GA3 fan as a RB. Very happy with Carlisle.
