According to Chris Cotillo of SB Nation, there are "about six teams with strong interest" in Braves starter Jaime Garcia.

Garcia was excellent on Sunday, working seven innings of one-run ball against a good Diamondbacks offense, though he owns a mediocre 4.33 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 81/40 K/BB ratio in 106 total innings (17 starts) this season for the Braves. The 31-year-old left-hander is owed around $4 million and scheduled to hit free agency this winter. He could be a back-end rotation rental for a contender.

Garrett Cooper finished 0-for-3 with a strikeout Wednesday in the Yankees' loss to the Twins.

Cooper is 0-for-7 over his last two games, after going 3-for-4 with two doubles in Monday's series opener at Target Field. Yankees manager Joe Girardi announced after Wednesday's defeat that Chase Headley will be taking over as the club's new first baseman, with newcomer Todd Frazier handling most of the starts at third base. That means far less exposure for Cooper.
