Arroyo is on the dl for Sacramento right now (at least he was yesterday). He makes it three guys from the 40 man roster sitting on the dl in AAA (and Moronta is on the dl for AA too).

Ryder will need to put on the 40 this coming off season anyway, so might as well add him now and give him a shot.

And if Nunez can't play, put him on the DL. That is why the DL was dropped to 10 days, to allow for more liberal use of it.

If Hill gets dfa'd for Jones, there is still a couple more guys who will need to come off the 40 man in the next month for Parker and Bumgarner (assuming both progress well).

And seriously thinking about this, I would rather see Hwang added before Jones. Let's see if he has anything to add to an MLB roster. If he fails, so be it.

Yup. Tough to overcome this vaunted Giant offense.

I am very surprised and thrilled that Scrabble isn't walking anyone. That's huge. The downside is since he is around the plate, he is giving up his share of dingers. (16 homers in 97 innings) Still, he has 97 innings through tonight, and only 13 walks. He had only one walk in May, and two so far in June. Impressive.
