Few interesting notes about today's lineup. Slater sits after struggling the past two games so Hernandez, who's struggled all season, can get a start. Panik dropped to the 6th spot and Belt to the 7th spot. However, the game is currently being postponed due to rain.

Double and single to lead off the game, and then our RBI men, Crawford and Posey, refuse to drive in the runs. Not even a Sac Fly. And now Pence makes out. 1-4 with RISP with no runners scoring. Perfect. Fire Bam Bam!

Vintage Dickey pitching tonight. Maybe we can talk the Braves into trading him for Cueto - during the game.

Through 6 full, we've had the same amount of baserunners as the Braves, yet we are down 2-0.

Out of the many things that boggles me about this year's team, one of them is Tomlinson's lack of pop. The guy was never a bopper but the fact that he doesn't have any extra base hits in 47 at-bats seems odd. His slugging has gone from .404 in 2015 to .330 last year to .277 this year.

Yeah, that intentional walk worked.

With the change to how batters are intentionally walked, I think that the way it is scored should be different. Come up with a different statistical term for it - something like base awarded - and not count it as a walk in both the hitters' and pitchers' box score. Instead, have it a separate line like hit by pitch.

This should have happened even before the change. Why should a IBB count against your WHIP for example.

Good job with the 7 2-out runs allowed. Giants making that their trademark specialty. This team is doing a great job in trying to match the 1985 team, flat out embarrassing and pathetic.

Morris can be the KNBR post-game wrap player of the game for not allowing more runs to score. What a joke of a team.

What if we only had 20 blsvs instead of 30 last year. The whole season would have looked completely different.
