none of them are missing a rotation player due to injury. Read that in a Lloyd article this morning.
Health and the luck that kind of determines it has always been instrumental in who wins. It still stings seeing the Cavs of '14-'15 go down without Irving and Love in the Finals. Sometimes...
hes 41 in December and cant do it any longer. He cant play both offense and defense in a playoff game- he can do one or the other- but he just cant do it.
Fat Luka is a top 10 guy when he isnt sucking wind
what is LeBron?
no way is he near top 10 anymore- 2 top 10 players should do much...
I think OKC rolls in this one......easy win. They are at home- younger legs than Denver...
only way Denver can win is if they somehow manage to keep it close and OKC gets tight. Home crowd is gonna help a lot though in this one if you ask me.
your on the verge of giving LeBron another Kobe Sympathy contract to stay relevant in the media while knowing it will not help them win- short term or long term.
Good luck!
I dont think you understand.
The CAvs could move Garland or Allen tomorrow and get value back.
No one would touch those Heat guys with a 10 foot pole unless the Heat were attaching substantial assets. If the Heat could cut those guys tomorrow and not pay them - they would be ecstatic.
how do you think they do that?
Would jettisoning Porzingis and Holliday be enough? or would White also need to go? I assume Horford is off the books. Maybe Pritchard instead of White?
Getting rid of Porzingis, Holliday, Horford might get it done?
obv. you keep Tatum and Brown and would...
Cavs are not trading Mobley. He is still on the way up. He is 23 and took big strides this year. He is the reigning DPOY, and took some big strides with his outside shooting. Last year he only shot 1.2 3's per game. This year he was at 3.2. If he can get that up to 4.5 or so a game-...
right. there will be no more long term dynasties. Boston is going to owe like 250 million in tax if they keep the team together. With Tatum out- it wouldnt surprise me if they just tore it all down for this season to get under the tax and reset the clock. Cavs are on a 3-4 year clock now...
the Lakers are done. LeBron just keeps getting older and they have no cap room. It looks like from media reports that the Lakers are going to re-sign LeBron to a 2 year 105 million dollar contract which will just push off further any type of real contention from the Lakers. Once LeBron inks...
since the Draymond pick over a decade ago in 2012 who is a good pick by the Warriors? Its been 13 years since they drafted anything close to an above average player.
if the Cavs are soft and they gave Miami the worst playoff series loss in the history of the franchise, what does that make Herro and his 4 points at home in an elimination game? a shriveled dick choke artist with no pride?
drafted 14th....kind of a back end rotation player? he is only 22 i guess i guess he is your 8th guy maybe?
do you point him out as a good move or a bad move?
It looks like they may just let Kuminga walk in restricted free agency. At one point this year I thought he might have some real value on the trade market but that seems to have cratered.
The Warriors had those 2 high lotto picks- Wiseman and Kuminga- and it looks like they arent gonna get...
I would not trade anyone. I think this is just the journey for a team- its not like the Cavs are have been a perennial power house without LeBron. Make some changes at the edges and run it back. Boston is going to have Tatum and salary cap issues. No one else in the East is anywhere near...
id just run it back. You gotta take these hurts- its the NBA. Just couldnt get it done. Fixed a lot of things this year but still got more to figure out. Wouldnt be surprised if the Cavs were the favorites to win the East come September.
i get to go from my extremely talented but underacheiving basketball team to my very mediocre but somehow always plays better than the sum of their parts baseball team.
A definite dissapoint- especially since the league is so wide open. Ill let some time wear off before I do a full post mortem
even if he plays he is not going to have much mobility- same as Garland. Hunter has a brick for a thumb and cant shoot a 3.....Mobley is doing somewhat better but he wouldnt be playing if he didnt have too. I think its over. They had pretty good injury luck all year and then it all come at...
I think they only went to the zone because Mobley clearly was hobbling around and they didnt want him and Garland running off screens- the zone allowed them less movement- but was more of a gimmick to catch them off guard for a one-time boost- then a good long term defensive strategy.
