tough series coming up against the Braves
Allen v. Sale
Bibee v. Morton
Lively v. Elder
be a good test for the Guards. Right now their hitting stats are like the best in the AL....obviously I dont think any of us expect that to be season long- but no reason they cant be one of the better...
Manzardo is raking at triple A. 2-3 more weeks and he will be up. Wonder if they will have the balls to drop Laureano and his 5M salary after just a month. I think Florial, Freeman and Brennan have done enough to justify staying on the team.
The Guardians last year just got nothing- i mean nothing- out of SS, C, and CF......those positions arent giving too much yet--- but just slightly below average is a huge improvement from last year---combine that with Kwan and Gimenez coming around and the offense is much improved
NAylor is...
Buxton has done nothing thus far--- i actually drafted him late in a league thinking he would be healthy and could get some power and steals- but he has been abysmal.
I am surprised that Julien has struggled as much as he has--- I thought even if everything else failed he would get on base...
Kwan leads MLB in hits right now
definitely looking like last year was the fluke
such a huge difference if he is on base at a .370-.390 clip then if he is down where he was last year.
true---- I think that Oakland is pretty bad though--- we are 8-2 against the White Sox/Athletics
3-1 vs. Boston-
1-2 vs. NY
2-1 vs. SEA
2-0 vs. Minny
Minny has had some issues- mostly with Lewis going down so early. Seattle has not hit for shit thus far.....Boston had O'Neil and Devers run...
Philly has just never put enough talent around Embiid.
I have not looked at the salary situation but I know Harris is a UFA after the season. If Maxey has not gotten a huge pay-day yet (i dont think he has) they will have to have a decent amount of room to make some moves. Maxey is not a...
All accurate.
LeBron is a mercenary so I will treat him like one. If he has no loyalty why should I?
As for the Heat- uhhh- not exactly looking great their Benedict.
I would really like Budenholzer- I think he has a lot better X's and O's and could bring some freshness to the offense. He coached some interesting teams in Atlanta that jsut didn't have the talent to get over the top and then did well in Milwaukee. He would be my first choice
I really...
I kept hoping they would get him out of the game and have a chance against the pen but he was just remarkable....Guardians offense has been fairly decent too---- it doesn't appear to be the anemic offense of last year.
Its hijacking the post- but like where the Guards are at right now- 13-6...
ughhhh
i have no idea
i read something a couple weeks ago where Mitchell had dunked the ball once since the start of January........if his knee is as bad as they say- it wont be an easy series.
I am not confident at all but I will say Cavs in 6.
Josh Naylor is legit. If Jose can come back to form a little bit over last year- that is a dangerous combo in the middle of the lineup. I dont think anyone else has a duo like that.
Kwan has looked like a great leadoff guy too.
Bullpen is our best advantage though i think....I think Barlow...
Twins just got swept by the O's...
Yanks look like they might get swept by the Blue Jays....
Lopez pitched better today though- only a matter of time before Lewis comes back and Twins get hot- but I cant complain about getting a few games on them early.
I guess we will see in the playoffs where he is at and if his usage actually justifies/corresponds to winning in the playoffs. My guess is that is a No- but if Embiid is at his best he can cover up for a lot.
Come playoff time would I rather have Edwards, Booker, Kyrie, George, Brown...
