Outside of planning a parade, this is the best way to start your off-season.
I might catch some shit for this, but while Zacha's talent says he shouldn't be the 4th line center, the results say otherwise. Do I think they'll put him on the 4th line? Probably not, so a move to wing may be in order.
#2 or 4 depending on who is available. Mid-season I would have said to go all in on defense, but the last few weeks exposed a need for another skilled forward.
I just watched the highlights before heading to bed and Butcher really played well on both ends. I knew it while watching the game, but he really stood out when you condense the game down.
John Hynes: "We'll have some lineup changes. Some guys haven't performed well enough to warrant a stay in the lineup."
HOW THE HELL DOES THAT NOT APPLY TO LOVEJOY?!?! Holy shit Hynes.
I always liked Henrique, but he annoys me right now. Since he was traded, he has been playing much better than he was with the Devils this year. I know it happens, and I don't wish him any ill will. But the Devils are loaded with offensive talent, so it's not as if he was stuck on a bad team.
I don't like the 3 on 3 at all. It's not hockey as far as I'm concerned. But as long as the NHL continues to use it, the Devils have the skill to win a lot of games in OT.
Yeah, really enjoyable game overall. They stumbled after the double minor no-call when Wood got hit in the face, but actually found their stride before letting Vancouver tie it.
