After last year's disaster, my confidence level for this year, on this July 23rd, is pretty low - about a 3. They have a new coaching staff, a new quarterback, and it looks like far too many holes to be very good this year.
If you're confidence level is high, explain why. What do you see?
Isaac Seumalo will start. It doesn't look like Zach Ertz will play yet.
According to the Eagles website, there will be a "new", more intense, attitude this week. I'll believe it when I see it.
The defense did it's job last night. They held an inferior Cowboys offense to 3 field goals and had a few turnovers, including a TD. I HOPE that by the end of the year, they can become a very good defense - but we'll see.
Wentz wasn't good. He knows it. Pederson knows it. Now they have to TRY...
OT Jason Peters, WR Jalen Reagor, S Rudy Ford, and LB T.J. Edwards, have returned to practice. They MIGHT play on Sunday or they will play after the bye.
I also think that they can make a run, IF they can get their act together and play some complete games.
Enjoy the mini-bye, destroy Dallas, have a full bye - get more injured players back, and then start kicking some ass for the rest of the season and even into early next year.
MAYBE I'm being...
They just can't seem to put a complete game together. They play well in spurts and then they will stink up the place.
Now they have a mini-bye and hopefully, they will get more players back.
