If I were the Bears I would trade the pick to the Bengals for a tagged Tee Higgins and pick 49 and a 2025 first round pick.
And the Bengals can then draft Tee's replacement, Marvin Harrison Jr.
I'm kidding of course.
And, with the exception of the steeler game (who are always a bad matchup) and the end of the chiefs game, the o line seemed to be much more competent and confident with Browning than Burrow.
I was hoping that Browning would have played better down the stretch enough to garner some interest from other teams because I had a wild trade idea.
Tag Higgins.
Trade Higgins and Browning for Justin Jefferson and some kind of pick swap.
Higgins is on the tag (approximately $20million) and...
I joked with friends after Jim Brown died that the Browns would probably win the Super Bowl this year.
There aren't a lot of likable teams in this year's playoffs, so I'll be pulling for the Browns and probably the Lions in the NFC.
I have an irrational/unrelated/nonsensical/random thought about why the bengals win, and why the bengals lose today:
Win.
Just about every championship team has a moment where they are on the brink of losing, or blowing and at a critical point in a game/season. They have already had that...
I think that's just common sense, you can't wait until 9pm Sunday night after the games to put AFCCG tickets on sale, the system will crash like people trying to get Taylor Swift tickets.
And for what its worth the Bills are selling tickets for a home AFCG.
The fix is definitely in, but not...
I read somewhere, with the new sunday ticket deal with youtube, that the cap is going to go up like $70 million over the next couple of years. The bengals just need to figure out how to make 2023's cap work, and then there will be more money available to keep people.
