Yes, they will play at Sutter Health Park (pending MLB approval).

So, I guess sell-outs will still be a problem. :drum:
I like this even less than Washington Football Team. Why not just call themselves the California Athletics for now since there is no longer the California Angels?
OBP is (H + BB + HBP) / (AB + BB + HBP + SF). As long as you can hit singles, you don't need power for a good OBP. Cunningham had a pretty good career AVG at .291. He also walked every 6.8 PA while Boggs walked every 7.6 PA. I would say one needs good plate discipline and be a good contact...

I know....right? How can anyone afford to live on just $2 million per year? Ohtani must have to clip a lot of coupons.
I have mixed feelings about the new playoff format. On the positive side, it gives smaller market teams a better chance at the postseason and a championship. On the negative side, I feel it somewhat cheapens the playoffs and a World Series title if getting hot at the right time takes too much...

Seems like it is the first time it has happened in the live-ball era.
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back.....uuuhh...unless the game is over 2 1/2 hours
They aren't doing it for the postseason now, but a couple of years ago, Manfred said the extra-inning rule will most likely go away.

I was under the impression that these rules would be thankfully going away in 2022. More playoff teams sucks. Sounds like they are trying to copy the way the NFL playoffs used to be. Not sure if that will translate over well to baseball with the top two teams getting a first-round bye.
Eddie Mathews 1953-1956. Ronald Acuna Jr. probably would have done it this year if he did not get injured, but he still has a chance next year.
Also Bob Horner.
