Man sorry to hear about all that. Hopefully things have gotten at least a little better with the personal/family/job stuff since you posted this last month. You're one of the good guys, so I have a feeling it'll all work out soon.
Reading up on the thread, you just got a healthy new addition...

This quote from Mariners Director of Player Development Andy McKay made me feel a little more optimistic about Lewis:
“Kyle was arguably the best player in that (2016) draft. When you have injuries like this, it’s just time. That’s all it is. You’re waiting for the body to heal, but you’re also...
Sounds like he's our DH, assuming Encarnacion and Bruce are gone.
Milwaukee Brewers: Why Domingo Santana is Playing at Hunter Pence Level in RF
With 2 outs in the top of the 9th, today’s game was sealed with a pop fly to Domingo Santana in RF and closer Jeremy Jeffress had his 10th save of the...
I seem to be way off trade value, but isn't Gray worth more than Edwin considering age, salary, and the fact he had all star type numbers away from Yankee stadium?
Maybe it's better to hang onto Seager and Gordon, and hope they can get hot enough next season so Haniger and Gonzales won't lose any trade value being part of a package with those guys.
I wonder what kind of value he's got though. Maybe a mid round prospect or two?
So that'd make it Crawford and a couple mid level prospects for a top 10 All Star SS in his prime.
There's no way the M's don't get a couple of the Phillies top prospects with Santana and Crawford.
I'm expecting one out of Sixto Sanchez/Alec Bohm/Adam Haseley/Mickey Moniak and one of Adonis Medina/Jhailyn Ortiz/Ranger Suarez/JoJo Romero/Enyel De Los Santos
Especially if they're taking on Santana's contract. They should be getting prospects alone for that.
There is nothing wrong with Segura's contract and should demand more than JP Crawford.
MLB rumors: Mariners could move Kyle Seager using similar framework to Cano-Diaz trade
Perhaps they attach Seager to Mitch Haniger or Jean Segura
We've known the Mariners were going to be going through a radical rebuild from the time they traded James Paxton and probably even before that...
Maybe McNeil is worth $36M, but I see him having below average defense as a slightly unproven 27 year old (225 ab's), which would make him 30 by the time the M's may or may not be contending.
By only paying $24M ($12M per first two years of Cano's contract) instead of $60M (all five years at...
I'm fine with taking on salary for the next 2-3 seasons since the M's aren't going to need that cap room to be contenders. So taking on the Bruce and Swarzak contract is perfectly fine if it means adding to the insanely shallow prospect pool. The only part bothering me is paying Cano $12M per...
I've always secretly wondered why the M's don't use their available money towards getting the best front office and scouting instead of spending $240M on Cano, $63M on Leake, $50M on Gordon ect.
The best group of guys to build the farm is likely far cheaper than signing/trading for high player...
