    Active Hall of Famers

That's not true, but even if it were, his body of work was good enough with the Yankees that it would at the minimum put him as a pretty borderline candidate. Then add on top of that two MVP top 10 finishes with the Mariners, including 39 HR in one of those seasons. His average season in...

    Active Hall of Famers

4 years later, looks like Verlander's a lock, CC's likely and Felix is a no.

    2020 Emmy Nominations

Yep...the supporting actor category was stacked this year and had a number of other snubs (ie., Mike and Lalo from Better Call Saul), but Ben was easily the best character in Ozark S3 and deserved a nod.

    Better Call Saul

The thing with Succession is that it's hard to pick the best character/actor of the cast, which speaks volumes as to how great everyone is.

    Better Call Saul

The cast in Succession is terrific, and on par with Saul imo...but yea, Odenkirk and Rhea both deserved to be nominated and possibly win. Tony Dalton (Lalo) deserved a nod too.

    Greatest pitcher of all time

Ryan's not even top 10....arguably the most overrated pitcher ever.

    Unsolved Mysteries

Nothing creepier than Robert Stack randomly narrating in an alley....haven't seen the new one, but not sure how that can be topped.

    Greatest pitcher of all time

Some gem vids with Maddux...who can forget this one:

    Greatest pitcher of all time

If he were mediocre after he left Seattle, I wouldn't bet on him making the HOF. On the flipside, if he were mediocre before he went to AZ, I'd bet on him making the HOF. His time in Arizona made him a HOF lock, not his time in Seattle.

    Greatest pitcher of all time

When you look at it, he only had 4 'good or better' seasons in Seattle....I wouldn't say he was a HOFer at that point.
  12. S

    Greatest pitcher of all time

True, but he also won a few that he shouldn't have won (notably 2001 and 2004), so it kinda evens out.

    Greatest pitcher of all time

The only thing RJ did better/more of on the M's was pitch in 40 more games...other than that, he did everything better with AZ.

    Rank These Modern Righthanded Hitters

Are they better at it however, or did they just have more chances? Trout's only had 1 seasons where he had 300+ PAs with runners on with his most at 310. By comparison: -Cabrera's had 11 seasons with 300+ PAs with runners on, with 4 of them being 340+ and 2 of them being 350+ -Pujols has had 16...

    Rank These Modern Righthanded Hitters

How is he near the bottom? For starters, Trout's posted an OPS+ of 175 in 5 seasons. By comparison, Thomas did so 6x, Pujols did so 4x, Cabrera's done so 3x, Manny's done so 1x.

Aren't those part of hitting? I'd say anything done at the plate (which those are) is part of hitting.

    Did Bonds Ruin baseball

Didn't you also say the Mariners offense cost Felix the hall of fame? If Griffey were a Giant and Bonds were a Mariner, 100% chance you'd be singing a different tune...

    Rank These Modern Righthanded Hitters

I think you're overrating Miggy here....his best years collectively weren't as good as Pujols' nor Thomas' best years offensively.

    Owen

If someone already corrected it which y, why do you need to beat a dead horse other than to be an asshole? You responded to and gave ratings to plenty of posts already, and as a result you certainly had to have seen someone correct that, but yet you decided to beat a dead horse because you like...

Poor logic...WWE's lawsuit against Martha wasn't for libel/slander or 'the way she acted.' They sued her for breach of contract.

    Owen

Agreed - Owen was an incredible heel....Own tearing up the glasses when it looked like he was going to give it to a kid is one of the all-time great heel moves imo.

    MJ Kobe Lebron?

Through the same amount of games or the same age, Lebron had better stats... Lebron's got 1258 games, and Kobe as of the end of 2014 had 1245 games....and at those points: Kobe - 25.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 4.8 APG, .454 FG%, 0.5 BPG, 1.5 SPG LBJ --- 27.1 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 7.4 APG, .504 FG%, 0.8 BPG...
