That's not true, but even if it were, his body of work was good enough with the Yankees that it would at the minimum put him as a pretty borderline candidate. Then add on top of that two MVP top 10 finishes with the Mariners, including 39 HR in one of those seasons.
His average season in...
Yep...the supporting actor category was stacked this year and had a number of other snubs (ie., Mike and Lalo from Better Call Saul), but Ben was easily the best character in Ozark S3 and deserved a nod.
The cast in Succession is terrific, and on par with Saul imo...but yea, Odenkirk and Rhea both deserved to be nominated and possibly win. Tony Dalton (Lalo) deserved a nod too.
If he were mediocre after he left Seattle, I wouldn't bet on him making the HOF. On the flipside, if he were mediocre before he went to AZ, I'd bet on him making the HOF.
His time in Arizona made him a HOF lock, not his time in Seattle.
Are they better at it however, or did they just have more chances?
Trout's only had 1 seasons where he had 300+ PAs with runners on with his most at 310. By comparison:
-Cabrera's had 11 seasons with 300+ PAs with runners on, with 4 of them being 340+ and 2 of them being 350+
-Pujols has had 16...
How is he near the bottom?
For starters, Trout's posted an OPS+ of 175 in 5 seasons. By comparison, Thomas did so 6x, Pujols did so 4x, Cabrera's done so 3x, Manny's done so 1x.
Didn't you also say the Mariners offense cost Felix the hall of fame?
If Griffey were a Giant and Bonds were a Mariner, 100% chance you'd be singing a different tune...
If someone already corrected it which y, why do you need to beat a dead horse other than to be an asshole?
You responded to and gave ratings to plenty of posts already, and as a result you certainly had to have seen someone correct that, but yet you decided to beat a dead horse because you like...
Agreed - Owen was an incredible heel....Own tearing up the glasses when it looked like he was going to give it to a kid is one of the all-time great heel moves imo.
Through the same amount of games or the same age, Lebron had better stats...
Lebron's got 1258 games, and Kobe as of the end of 2014 had 1245 games....and at those points:
Kobe - 25.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 4.8 APG, .454 FG%, 0.5 BPG, 1.5 SPG
LBJ --- 27.1 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 7.4 APG, .504 FG%, 0.8 BPG...
