Granted, I don't follow the team like I once did. But I am getting a semi-rare opportunity to watch, and the announcing team made a point of saying he has a home ERA of about 1.40. So is he just getting mauled on the road, which may now be bleeding over to Arlington as well?
That is certainly one way to look at, and it's accurate for sure...........But then again, we knew we weren't going anywhere with the starting rotation we had, or the 2nd baseman/bat we needed, etc..........Personally, I've got to give it to the FO for putting together, not only this years team...
I don't remember this. However, it points out how much Sir saddles is our rudder-in-the-water of all things Ranger!........Thanks........Mitch was seldom a terrific player, but regardless of team or circumstance, I don't think he ever cheated himself, the organization or it's fandom. With Mitch...
I don't know if any of ya heard the interview on Norm&D's show, but he gave an awful lot of credit to the Dodgers for the work they did with him, which in turn has 'hopefully' turned him into a solid starter, for a desperate franchise in need of one. His tip-of-the-hat to his previous employer...
He hasn't been a good teammate wherever he's been, and that's including college. The Dodgers - as a whole - wanted nothing else to do with him.
As a pitcher he's an 'A' and as a person he's an 'F'.
Totally off the subject, but does anyone have any idea of what is going on with the Ticket this morning? All the breaks are the usual, but they are playing music in place of their format; at least on line they are.
I would have expected you to feel this way, for sure. But I, like you, want no part of Gallo being a member of the Rangers ever, ever again. It will be interesting to see what the marketplace thinks of him.
Honestly, I don't think many of us 'really' wish Joey ill will, do we? But it's painfully obvious Joey isn't going to be the Joey we thought/hoped/expected him to be.
Heaney just signed with the Rangers on what appears to be either a one year, or two year deal. I caught a scroll on ESPN and it's a two year deal, but is voidable after the first season.
Actually, it's way off....ha..........I looked on baseball reference, and looked at the last 3 years of each of them per season, and didn't pay ANY attention of the difference of years played. I stand corrected!
But Eph, DeGrom has been hurt a lot, and if he's getting hurt a lot at a younger age now, then the future isn't so bright. In the last 3 seasons, Verlander has started 65 games while DeGrom sits at 38. That number alone concerns me about Sir De and not at all for Verlander.
I'm not being...
