anyone hear anything about Dexter Williams getting suspended? I was told that’s the rumor going around. I thought Dexter was going to be a star this year. Still do if this rumor is false.
I don’t know how many of you saw that game, but coming back from 16 down in the second half to beat the #6 team in the country was pretty impressive. ND led the game for a total of 22.4 seconds. Twenty seconds when we led 4-2 and and 2.3 seconds when we took the lead 67-66 at the end of the...
i know this is jumping the gun, but Joe Lunardi put out his first bracketology forcast. He has ND as a 3 seed. I don't remember ever being ranked this high in one of his projections.
OK, back to the important stuff.
getting to a final four is always a good thing. Hockey team has been fun to follow this year. We keep winning the games we are supposed to lose to move forward. A final four with Denver, Harvard, and Minnesota-Duluth isn't something most football and basketball fans would recognize, but for...
I just read this. I know he finished his career at Stanford, but I remember him from my daughter's first year at ND. He was only 29 and died from a brain aneurysm. Incredible tragedy for his family.
This season is so bad I've been reduced to looking for a screwed up final four scenario. I'm now rooting for Florida, Va Tech, Penn State and Colorado to win this weekend. That could end up with zero conference champions in the playoff. There is no way Bama gets left out. Same with Ohio State...
does anyone else find it amusing, or at least a bit ironic, that Harbaugh spend a chunk of his post game press conference bitching about Michigan being screwed by Big Ten refs. The whole idea made me laugh.
not that I usually give a crap about the big ten, but it would make me very happy if Ohio State were to beat Michigan, and then Penn State beat Michigan State. And then I want to see Penn State win the big ten championship game, and Ohio State make it to the playoff.
Just wanted to throw that...
thats the first good news I've heard in a while regarding a good ND player who is eligible for the NFL. Of course, he could always change his mind. (See, Even my optimistic posts have a pessimistic twist)
I hate to see anyone die at the age of 61. But as an ND fan, my memory of John Saunders is him saying that Notre Dame was a racist institution because they fired Ty Willingham without giving him a full five years. I remember him saying that U of Washington administrators were geniuses for...
i just realized I also really like it when we beat Michigan. What a great game. Down by 12 at the half and come back to win. Now we get to play a 14 seeded Stephen F. Austin. Let's not screw this up. Go Irish!!!
1953 Heisman Trophy winner. Also won the Maxwell Award twice. Only two players won the Maxwell Award twice Lattner and Tebow. (Lattner was better). Prayers go out to his family.
I always liked Monty. I remember when he was at ND they found a serious heart problem that many thought should end his BB days. He got through it (honestly, I don't remember how), but was a really great player for us. They had five kids, prayers out for the whole family.
