Cordarrelle Patterson to the Steelers.
2 years $6m
Not bad for a guy that can play RB, WR & KR. But at his age & injury history, I hope he stays healthy. But now that kick returns are relevant again, might turn out to be a good move.
Come to think of it... This might be more of a ST signing than anything. Igwebuike is the only solid kick return specialist they have.
McFarland gone. Olszewski obviously didn't work out. Igwebuike played well enough in the return role. CA3 did punts.
Paying Patterson $3m per year to play...
Interesting move. Definitely Arthur Smith's doing. Gadget player. Should be able to compete in the WR room and carve out some sort of subpackage role out of the backfield.
Even if he only gets 5 snaps out of the backfield that will play a big part in keeping Harris & Warren healthier.
Is this...
Not surprised they chose to fill out the room prior to the draft.
Interested to see how they play Fields' 5th year option this offseason. It would toll in 2025 for north of $22m. Have they indicated their plans yet?
If they decline it, and Russ plays the entire year then maybe they can get...
I like the Quez Watkins signing. High upside player with a lot of speed. Now he has a chance to carve out a meaningful role instead of being smothered on the depth chart.
Steelers will still draft a WR (day 2 most likely). Seems like they will build around Pickens for now, but not resting their...
Well it appears a rebuild is underway
They did just extend McLaurin fairly recently but only a 3 yr deal. He’s under contract through 2025.
They did just draft Dotson & this draft is flush with WR talent. Would be a good move to acquire more picks in a rebuild.
Yea thats a tough sell. Diggs wouldn't want that. But the Bills would listen if the price was right.
Bills lost Gabe Davis but acquired Curtis Samuel & Mike Hollins. Diggs is the only alpha they got. But he appears to be getting phased out of Buffalo. Paying that man a lot of money and not...
Wayyy more talented with sure-hands. His "bitchiness" is more a result of wanting to win the bigger games. He only gets loud when they fail on the big stage.
DJ was a bitch in the face of adversity. And I don't recall ever seeing Diggs straight up quit mid-play.
Definitely odd. Considering Kenny was playing well prior to injury. Didn't make sense to me why players like Diontae had essentially turned on him. Seemed like they were unfairly blaming offensive issues on him.
But it is what it is... Might just be that the rest of the team is flat out...
