Kansas City is most certainly a baseball city....it deserves to be in the top 6 imo, i don't see how you say it's a football town
@yoga≈surfing Cleveland? really? they get 10k fans a game
Just under 2 weeks after beating Syracuse by 15 in New York's MSG, Cal beat Montana today...by 2 points, in double OT, in Berkeley. About 25 turnovers...wow, glad they got the win somehow.
Jabari Bird was out all game today with a foot injury though, hope it isn't serious.
*deep breaths*
Go...
you know, this is the first i've heard about that bad Buffs loss. My goodness...Wyoming is solid, especially up in Laramie, but man...i would expect better. Buffs gonna have more problems on the road this year...again?
Robinson fired from Oregon St. yesterday...not too big of a surprise, but later than expected. And Oregon just had Dotson, Artis, and Austin suspended for alleged r*pe charges. Not good for Oregon, especially with an alleged crime like that. I was hoping Artis transferred to Cal as we needed a...
Definitely, but i'm saying there's a little more competition for your recruits, now. Say you usually get 3 from the bay area a year (you don't, just hypothetically). What if Cal takes one of those 3 and now you'll only have 2?
That's good enough for me
Cuonzo Martin from Tennessee to Cal. I really like it. Young guy and could be a good recruiter on the west coast given his character and the way he talks. Coming off a heart breaker with the elite 8 on the to Michigan.
Could be bad news for you Zona fans, since Arizona seemed to steal all the...
Couldn't say i didn't expect this...lol. gg Zona. Your offense is finally back clicking again along with your consistent good D.
Big game this weekend @ ASU, that's the one Cal really needs along with the last two games at home
Jahii is very talented but not smart. Could've went to UCLA probably but had bad test scores. When he hung on the rim last night, it was just stupid. I didn't want the refs to award that technical and glad he didn't but why give them the opportunity? Just dumb.
Good win by ASU though
Good to see a pac-12 baseball thread up. Cal destroyed #25 Texas 7-0 last night in berkeley...was pretty happy.
Currently in a 1-1 tie in the 6th. Double header today
I don't think you understand how good the pac-12 is, you don't give the teams in it enough credit. The pac-12's OOC is good, so take it at that. Any road game is tough, but Pac-12 road games are the toughest in the country. This conference is very difficult. There doesn't have to be 3-4 teams...
exactly, Cal is still in a funk (lost 4 of 5) yet decided to show up with their best vs. Arizona. I guess it's human nature...i'd honestly rather be 8-2 or 9-1 with a loss to Arizona than 6-4 with a win vs. Arizona, but i guess i'm ok with this scenario because we're still in good shape for a...
classic Cal. this team will learn sooner or later that you gotta bring it every night...hopefully sooner rather than later. Cal is probably in the tourney right now but it's tough to be a fan right now. Cal has lost 4 of 5 but beat the #1 team in the country in between. Weird stuff haha.
And...
not to mention, a cal team playing like shite back then. Seems like so long ago ;). I hope ASU makes the tourney this year, but man, Herb really isn't a good coach at all. I feel for y'all ASU fans, Cal was stuck with Ben Braun for years. Enough talent to make it to the dance almost every year...
Remember Cal has pretty good defense...Arizona didn't shoot a low percentage by themselves. Too bad we can't get up to play defense like that every game. Great game Zona fans, good stuff
