...to the shitty decade of Texas football I've suffered through. But hey, it's alright! It's nothing serious, they just didn't want to be there that day/week/year.
I knew there was a reason, just took some really smart football people to point it out for me.
How the hell is everybody? Also, are their new rules? I tried to make a post on an alert, granted it was several weeks old, but it said I "dont have those priveleges" or something like that.
Is it football season yet?
...Y'all are not seeing the biggest, best news for UT: We finally got an AD!
Woohoo! Bring on the party! Finally, some leadership. And, finally the AD is over ALL athletics: no more separate Men's/Women's ADs. Alignment, gentlemen.
An exhibition game took place in Houston at Rice University between the Longhorns and the Aggies to raise money for Texans in need after the destruction of Hurricane Harvey.
It's opening day of fall practice! Everyone's favorite team is undefeated and hopes are high. Any news, new players, new coaches, deficiencies that need to be addressed, strengths of the team...whatever you got. Throw it down and let the rest of us hear about it.
watched that Lamenchenko fight this weekend...
holy moly, what a knockout.
an uppercut, followed split second later by a devastating hook. GOOD NIGHT.
I mean, dude was still rocking back by the uppercut, with that hook already in midstream and about to turn out the lights. Think that was the...
was looking for an off-season thread to put this, but gave up.
Texas picked up 5 star Jarret Allen, McDonald's AA big man. This will give Texas the #5 or #6 or thereabouts ranked class. He's a 6'10" guy with a 7 1/2 foot wingspan and was the 15th rated prospect.
He joins another Mcd AA Brandon...
out there?
I watch it from time to time in the off season, like the 7s games and others.
Just watched the Varsity National Championship between BYU and Cal. BYU had won it the past four years in a row.
Today Cal came back and scored 21 unanswered at the end to win it 40-29. Hell of a game, or...
How about having Bill McRaven as chancellor? What an impressive individual.
Whatever you feelings about the current President, being complimented by the POTUS is pretty cool.
This was a special on the UBL mission back in 2011. McRaven was the head of the unit.
While I and many others got excited during the spring scrimmage/game, for some good reasons, there are still many hard realities we will have to face for one more year.
I kinda wish I hadn't, but that's life. This thread will be bookmarked, stickied in the minds of every CFB yahoo Hooplan.
It's not an OD type of thing; it's more like a drinkin' the Cool-Aid thing, except more serious.
I've had these pre-cognitive type visions a handful of times in my life...
From what I'm reading, it is academically based. Guess this is another casualty of the 'one and done' rule?
Or is the fact he's from Australia a factor?
Whatever the reason, still kind of sucks for the kid (if it mattered at all to him)
...which really sucks. He had been playing really well. Came one block away from a triple double recently, plus had had 4 or 5 double doubles already.
Dammit.
'Yall hearing anything about this?
He just won the Frank Broyles award.
Sonny Cumbie, co OC at TCU, interviewed at Texas (from Leach coaching tree) and now Gilbert from Tulsa (Briles coaching tree) is interviewing at Texas.
Makes me think, one of them is going to OU, one to Texas.
Hearing...
