thats true a TE can easily put in a long career, but like RBs they can be had after round 1. kelce and andrews were round 3, kittle was round 5, gronk was round 2.
i dont disagree based on what everyone says about him, but i view TEs like i do RBs and would never take one in round 1.
on top of that, its just not a need on this team, it would be a luxury pick when we have holes to fill on OL/DL and possibly QB.
taking another CB would be absolutely puke...
Tvondre sweat was arrested for dui, not that i thought he was a possibility but now its 0%.
If he fell to round 4 because of this, i would take a shot at him. Dude is massive and talented.
We will find out if the draft shenanigans were mostly on carroll, which is my true hope of hopes. I have a feeling its not though, I expect trade downs and quantity over quality, missing out on a few guys who will end up being good players.
They gave MacDonald a 6 year deal, right? I think its fair to say they accept that the first two years are going to be rough and expectations are lowered.
Im not seeing it. Fields is absolute trash and cant throw the ball accurately to save his life.
Howell was considered a potential #1 prospect for a few years before he fizzled out. I think Howell is far more likely to have upside
That said, i think we tank and draft a qb next year
